A figure in an orange-and-maroon dhoti-style garment with a golden-bordered wrap sits with bare feet on a gold stool, their feet being worshipped. In front, a gold tray-table holds several silver plates with red and yellow offerings, red flowers, and small oil lamps. A woman in a green sari and orange shawl sits at left, holding a plate, and a man in a white kurta kneels at right, reaching toward the offerings. Other seated devotees in orange, green and white watch from behind. The background shows a golden lion-like carved throne and a yellow-cushioned seat.2015-02-01February 01 20152015-02-01August 24 20142014-08-24Devotees perform an aarti offering before a seated figure on an ornate gilded throne with a carved lion-head armrest, in a dark shrine room with hanging brass bells and lamps. The seated figure wears a red-orange garment, rudraksha mala beads and bangles, with a white forehead marking. Around a gold-covered table with silver plates of flowers and offerings, several people hold lit lamps and plates: a woman in a green sari with grey hair seen from behind, a woman in white, a man in a white kurta, and a young man in a green shirt. Another woman stands in the background near a wooden lattice door.2015-02-01Inside a dimly lit hall, a seated figure in orange-saffron robes with a white and orange flower garland has bare feet resting on a gold-coloured platform. Around the foot-level offerings, several devotees sit or kneel with hands extended, holding incense sticks and small stemmed offerings. Brass and silver trays on a gold-coloured tray hold red-tipped flower petals, white flowers, small bowls, incense, and kumkum-style red items. Oil lamps glow in the background behind the group, and people in white shirts and a woman with long blonde hair in dark red clothing watch closely. This appears to be a puja performed at the feet of a guru, with padapuja offerings.2011-12-11A golden throne draped with a tiger-striped cloth dominates the left side, where a seated figure in orange-brown robes with a gold-bordered sash and a red-and-white flower garland is partly visible, feet resting on the platform. In front, a round golden tray holds many silver bowls of fruit, flowers and sweets with red blossoms. Around it sit several women in orange and saffron clothing with rudraksha malas; one man in a white kurta and glasses sits near the centre, and a woman in white with beads sits behind him. The setting is a dark room with a carved wooden door on the right.2013-08-19August 13 20132013-08-13A photograph of a ritual offering on a gold-carved wooden platform before a tiger-striped backdrop. A pair of bare feet in orange-and-gold cloth rests on the platform's edge at top. Around a round tray are many small silver bowls of pink and red powders, rose petals, and a flower arrangement. A young man in white with rudraksha beads and white forehead markings holds a small cup. A woman in orange with white forehead marks and a bangle dips into a bowl, and another woman in orange holds a small bowl of yellow liquid. A child with white markings on the arms reaches toward the tray. Dried fruit and sweets are arranged among the bowls. The setting appears to be an ashram puja.2013-08-13December 11 20112011-12-11July 05 20172017-07-05
