Photograph of a ceremony at night. On the right, a seated figure with long swept-back hair, a red-and-orange sleeveless garment, and a heavy gold ornamental necklace with large gold pendant sits on a silver-backed seat draped with marigold garlands, a leopard-print cloth over his lap, and reaches out to take a folded yellow cloth held by an attendant in orange robes. Facing him on the left, a man in white kurta with a red shawl, hands pressed together in greeting. Behind, another attendant in orange with a rudraksha mala assists, and a patterned cloth backdrop and ornate canopy frame the scene. a person: the seated figure shows long swept-back hair, ceremonial gold necklaces and rudraksha-style beads, consistent with the page reference, but appearance is not conclusive.2014-05-20A seated woman in red and gold saffron-toned robes with a gold and beaded necklace and garlands sits on an ornate silver throne under a fringed canopy, receiving a yellow cloth held by an older man in white kurta and dhoti who bows with his face near the cloth. Beside them a woman in white with a red shawl stands with palms pressed together in namaste. Marigold garlands hang on a patterned draped backdrop, with a red carpet on the floor and other people in white in the background. The seated figure's appearance is consistent with the page's reference to a person but is not clear enough to confirm, so identity is unsure.2014-05-20May 20 20142014-05-20May 20 20142014-05-20May 20 20142014-05-20August 24 20142014-08-24May 13 20162016-05-13A photograph of a seated man with long dreadlocked hair and a short beard, bare-chested and draped in a rust-red cloth, sitting on a leopard-print cushioned seat beside an ornate silver-carved throne-like frame. He rests his hands on a golden-brown cloth-covered vessel, while a young woman in a magenta blouse and a dot on her forehead, with a yellow-fringed garland, stands close and holds the vessel. Behind them a second person in orange-red garments stands, and a pedestal fan and silver staffs are visible. The figure matches the Swamiji appearance cues of long swept-back hair, rudraksha mala and ceremonial dress, so he is described as Swamiji (probable) seated in ritual activity.2018-04-14September 11 20152015-09-11 +2 copiesSeptember 21 20142014-09-21Ceremonial scene in a temple-like hall. A man seated on an ornate gold-and-red throne wears an orange-red turban, layered rudraksha malas, a large gold pendant necklace, bangles and an orange-red shawl over saffron robes, and holds a long wooden staff across his lap. Standing before him, a bare-chested man in a white dhoti with a sacred thread lays a hand on the seated figure's arm while another attendant in a white dhoti and women in orange and maroon saris with rudraksha malas stand or sit nearby. Swamiji (probable) is the seated figure in the throne, identified by the turban, malas and saffron robes. Several attendants and devotees surround a red-draped seat with a gold-framed backdrop.2015-11-24May 29 20182018-05-29 +1 copies
