Photograph of an indoor ashram room with red carpet and gold-trimmed thrones. A woman in a rust-orange sari with a gold border leans forward with her palms outstretched, touching a kneeling woman in a pink top and white skirt who has her head bowed. Behind them a standing bearded man wears an orange robe, rudraksha mala and a red-and-white flower headdress; he appears to be a sannyasi or priest, and his identity is unsure from appearance alone. A seated woman in orange clothing sits on a leopard-print throne to the left. A gold kalasha-style ornamental box and a gold ceremonial object sit on a gold table with a plastic-wrapped offering. A large gold-framed painting hangs on the left wall.2016-05-07October 09 20152015-10-09A photograph of a seated figure on an ornate gilded throne with a red cushioned seat and a large carved back. The seated person wears a red-orange turban, a red-orange robe with yellow borders, layered beaded rudraksha-style malas and a gold pendant, and gold armlets and bangles, and holds a small flower-tipped staff with yellow and white blossoms. Two bare-chested men in white dhotis with gold borders stand bending forward, one placing his hands on the seated person's arm in an act of reverence, while a woman in red clothing is partly visible at the right edge. Metal scaffolding and a plain backdrop frame the event setting. Swamiji (probable) is the seated figure, identified from his turban, saffron-red robes, layered malas and gold ornaments on the throne; the attendants are devotees in ritual white dhotis.2015-11-24July 06 20152015-07-06September 28 20162016-09-28August 20 20152015-08-20Photo of a ritual exchange inside a gold-accented hall. A seated figure in an orange-red turban, saffron-orange robe with gold border, and ornate beaded necklaces holds out a red fruit and a small ornate gold item toward a kneeling woman in a pink and black sari with grey hair and a yellow forehead mark. Two gold-toned oil lamps, a gold rooster-topped lamp stand and a gilded throne-like carving frame the scene. Beside them a bald man in a saffron-orange robe with a beaded necklace and yellow tilak kneels with hands together, and a standing woman in white with a rudraksha mala is partly visible at the top right. Lamps with flames stand on the right behind the figures.2015-10-10A photograph of a ceremonial honouring on a golden-lion-armed throne. A seated man in red-orange robes with a golden necklace and a long mala of rudraksha beads sits smiling, with a white tilak on his forehead and a microphone at his side. A man in a white shirt kneels before him, bowing his head, while the seated man reaches out to drape a red-and-maroon shawl over him. A woman in red-orange sari with a rudraksha mala stands at left holding the shawl, and golden deity figures glow in the background.2015-09-18A photograph of a seated man in a saffron-orange dhoti and draped cloth, with a long dark-brown rudraksha-style bead necklace, holding a yellow notepad and smiling as he reaches toward a man bowing deeply at his feet. The bowing man wears a white shirt and white trousers. Behind them a shaved-headed priest with white vibhuti marks on his forehead and an orange shawl smiles, and a gilded deity murti in a red and gold setting stands to the left. The seated man sits in a large brown leather throne-style armchair with gold-trimmed wooden arms, next to a cream footstool, consistent with a padapuja devotional setting. Two physical people are visible. The seated man shows probable cues of long swept-back dark hair, saffron clothing and rudraksha beads, but his appearance alone is not decisive.2014-08-24October 11 20132013-10-11October 12 20152015-10-12A photograph inside an indoor hall during a devotional offering. A long-haired figure in orange-red robes sits on a gold and red throne with a zebra-striped cushion, a rudraksha mala and gold necklace visible, and extends a hand toward a brass tray. A woman in an orange-red sari and a bald-headed man in orange robes with a white tilak and rudraksha beads stand nearby holding trays of fruit and sweets. A woman in a colourful embroidered blouse and orange sari with flowers in her hair, seen from behind, presents an offering. Several other people stand in the background. Appearance-based probable Swamiji cues: long swept-back hair, rudraksha mala and gold necklace, orange-red robes, seated on a throne.2012-07-09
