A large, ancient banyan tree dominates the frame, with a thick, buttressed trunk split into many hanging aerial roots and sprawling horizontal limbs spreading across the image. Green leaves cluster among the branches, and reddish-brown earth and a low stone-walled platform lie at the base. No people are visible; the grounds appear freshly landscaped beside the tree.2013-06-10 +1 copiesJune 12 20132013-06-12A large, ancient banyan tree dominates the frame, its wide spreading limbs and many aerial prop roots forming a dense green canopy over reddish-brown earth. Thick hanging roots descend from the branches around the trunks. At the base, beneath the lower branches, a small shrine area is visible with red and white draped fabric and a few small objects, though figures there are too distant to clearly distinguish. Overcast light filters through the leaves. No clearly visible people are present in the foreground.2015-08-23June 12 20132013-06-12A large banyan tree dominates the frame, with thick grey trunks, spreading horizontal limbs and many hanging aerial roots descending like vertical cords. Green leaves fill the canopy against a pale sky. At the lower right edge a red-orange wall and a metal railing are partly visible.
