In the foreground, a man in a red robe with a gold-edged border and a dark beaded rudraksha mala sits with palms together and eyes closed, a vertical mark on his forehead and sandalwood-like marks on his arms. Beside him, a man in an orange robe wears a heavy gold necklace and bead mala and sits with hands clasped. To the left, a bare-chested man in white dhoti with gold border sits with hands folded. Behind them, several men in white shirts and white dhotis sit in meditation, along with a woman in a patterned sari at far left. In the centre a bald man in saffron ochre robes with a thick gold-beaded necklace sits with palms pressed together in prayer. Around him several men in white dhotis and shawls, some with rudraksha malas, sit in similar postures, and a man in orange at right holds his hands together. Behind them standing onlookers and banners are visible. The scene suggests a satsang or puja with a seated group, though the central figure's identity is not established from appearance alone.2013-02-12 +1 copiesA photograph of a seated group of men performing a puja on a polished white floor in a hall with red curtains. In the foreground, a man in saffron-orange robes with a sacred thread and rudraksha mala sits with hands pressed together in prayer, his eyes closed. Beside him, another man in orange with glasses and a forehead mark sits with palms joined. To the right, men in white dhotis with maroon borders and bare upper bodies sit in prayer, one ringing a brass bell. Brass plates with flower offerings, small oil lamps, a kalasha-style vessel and an orange cloth are arranged on the floor in front of them. Devotees sit in the background.2011-08-02February 02 20132013-02-02August 17 20112011-08-17January 11 20172017-01-11
