November 22 20162016-11-22A photograph of an outdoor sacred pool with a large white stone Shivalinga on a black circular yoni-pitha base, set on a red-and-white platform at the centre of the water. Two shirtless priests in orange dhotis with sacred threads stand on the stone steps at the near edge, one pouring water from a golden pot over a black Nandi-like stone form while another holds a vessel nearby. Several metal buckets sit in the foreground. Tiered red stone seating surrounds the pool, with a few dozen people seated on the steps at right, and a red-brick building and flags behind. Ritual abhishekam appears to be underway.2016-11-22November 22 20162016-11-22Outdoor abhishekam at a large sunken stone pool with a tall white lingam on a dark round yoni pedestal, surrounded by stepped red-and-white seating. Three shirtless priests in saffron and maroon dhotis pour water from brass vessels over a black Nandi-form stone in the foreground, while further priests in orange attend the central shrine. Rudraksha malas hang from the younger priests' necks. Spectators sit on the terraced stands at right. Brass pots line the platform, and water reflects the scene across the pool.2016-11-22September 26 20162016-09-26Outdoor photograph of a large rectangular reflecting pool at Aadikailaasa, with stepped terraced seating on both sides. A tall black Shiva lingam stands on a raised platform in the centre of the water, wrapped in a yellow, green and red striped flower garland. Its reflection shows clearly in the still water. In the foreground a black Nandi bull statue wears a red and white flower garland, facing the lingam. Along the upper left terrace a few figures in orange and white robes sit and stand near the steps. Several devotees sit on the bottom right steps watching, one in a white shirt. Red-brick buildings and trees fill the background, and a camera crane arm extends at the right edge.2013-11-06A large outdoor stepped amphitheatre-style abhishekam hall with rows of black Shivalingams on red-tiled tiers. Many men in orange and white dhotis and orange shawls sit cross-legged before the lingams, with brass bowls, flowers and ritual vessels set in front of them. A central raised stone Shivalinga and a dais with a seated figure in gold and orange stand across a large empty pool at right, with red flags along the edges and a pink multi-storey building behind. Several figures in orange robes stand on the steps, and an attendant in white is at the right edge. Ritual abhishekam chanting appears to be underway. The a person field is unsure because no candidate's appearance can be confirmed from the distance.2017-07-24Outdoor photograph of a large black stone Shivalinga on a raised square platform in a water tank, with red-and-white striped edges. Several robed priests in orange and saffron stand around the platform beside brass kalasha pots, a brass lamp and a standing golden figure; a few people stand on a metal scaffold stair climbing the linga. Terraced red stone seating in front of a long wall is filled with a seated audience in white and light clothing, with orange flags along the rails.
