November 25 20142014-11-25April 30 20152015-04-30A temple ritual scene in which a man in a rust-orange dhoti-style garment and a yellow-and-multicolour marigold garland stands at left, adorning or offering to a richly decorated deity murti. The murti is draped in gold and silver jewellery, layered necklaces, a crown and a flower-covered ornamental setting of red roses, yellow marigolds and white blossoms. A second, smaller figure with a bright pearl-and-gem crown and red garments sits at right, and another decorated figure stands behind. A brass oil lamp is visible at far left. The man has a vibhuti or tilak mark on his forehead and is holding a ritual item with both hands.2015-01-09A photograph of a temple shrine decorated with dense garlands of yellow, orange, red and white flowers forming an arch. Golden metal deity murtis stand behind a central figure: one with a crown and ornate jewellery, another with a fanned headdress, and a figure on the left in a maroon dress with pearl-like embellishments. In front, a bearded man in a maroon-brown robe and matching turban smiles and raises one hand in greeting, wearing a gold necklace, a rudraksha mala with a pendant and a floral garland with pink and white blooms. Flower garlands drape the shrine base and brass lamps sit at the front. The scene looks like a Hindu temple festival or darshan.2016-12-14November 25 20142014-11-25March 13 20132013-03-13November 25 20142014-11-25September 22 20142014-09-22July 18 20132013-07-18A shaven-headed priest in an orange-brown dhoti and saffron shawl holds a silver tray with a lit flame toward a decorated group of deity murtis seated on a golden throne. The central figure wears a crown, a white and gold-embroidered garment, and a jewelled necklace, with a red sash. A female murti in red and gold sits to the right, and a male figure in white and orange is seated to the left. The murtis are garlanded with yellow and red flowers, and a green-and-gold brocade cloth covers the platform. The scene suggests an arati ceremony at a marriage-style festival setting.2015-04-30March 13 20132013-03-13January 09 20152015-01-09
