The person wears a rust-orange cloth with wide gold-zari borders. Two gold ceremonial ornaments with red stone tops sit between the feet, and a hand enters from the right edge holding a jasmine flower. The scene suggests a padapuja or foot-worship ritual, with flowers set out as offering. No face is visible, so the person's identity cannot be determined.2012-05-12Close-up photograph of a pair of bare feet standing on an ornate gold-embossed ritual mat during a pada puja. The feet belong to a person wearing orange-saffron cloth, visible at the top of the frame. Around them are silver ritual vessels, a silver tray with a small silver cup and a leafy sprig, and red apples in silver bowls, which are offerings. The feet are being honoured as part of the padapuja ceremony, and no face is visible.2010-08-26Close view of bare feet resting on a silver tray filled with red rose petals, set on an ornate gold-carved throne or pedestal. The person wears an orange-saffron cloth with a gold border, and a silver elephant-headed spout and a silver staff rise at the right edge. The feet emerge from a saffron-orange draped garment with a gold-bordered hem, set against an ornate gold-toned throne or pedestal. The scene reads as a foot-worship ritual (padapuja) before a seated figure whose face and body are cropped out of frame. The lower legs and feet are the only visible human body parts.2012-05-18Close view of bare feet resting on a round silver tray filled with red and pink rose petals, with small gold-toned vessels among the petals and a gold-trimmed red cloth beneath.
