A dim control room during a live broadcast or recording. In the foreground, a man in a checked button-up shirt looks toward the camera while his hand rests on a black video switcher panel with a small screen. Beside him, a second operator in white sits with his back partly turned. A large monitor displays multiple camera feeds of a woman in orange robes with a white beaded necklace, seated and gesturing at a lectern or stage. On the desk are cables, a green box, marigold-like flowers and a small switcher unit.2014-04-29Two technicians operate a video production setup in a dim room. On the left, a man in a checked collared shirt watches a flat-screen monitor. On the right, a man in a white shirt works a broadcast switcher and camera controls with his hand on a joystick. The monitor shows multiple camera feeds of a robed figure in saffron-orange clothing with a beaded necklace, gesturing with an outstretched arm on a stage. A small console with a mixer and a white cable box sit on a draped table, with a box of tea-like cartons and garlands nearby. Swamiji (probable) appears only on screens: a saffron-clad figure with long swept-back hair and a rudraksha-style necklace, depicted in the monitor feeds rather than physically present.2014-04-29April 29 20142014-04-29Two technicians in a dim control room operate a video switcher while watching a large monitor. The monitor shows a multi-window live feed of a man with long hair, saffron-orange robes and rudraksha malas, gesturing with his hand in several camera angles, with smaller inset views of other people in orange clothing. In the foreground, a man in a checked shirt sits at left and another in a white shirt works the control panel at right, with a small LCD display, cables and a green box on the table.2014-04-29August 22 20152015-08-22A photograph of a live-production video switcher desk in a studio. A large monitor shows a multi-view grid of camera feeds: a man in an orange-saffron robe with a rudraksha mala and a wide dark hat speaks into a microphone, and a woman in a purple top sits beside a decorated tapestry-backed chair holding a framed photo. A second man in the background works at a laptop. Control panel buttons and faders are in the foreground. The on-screen man wearing saffron with a mala matches the appearance cues of a person depiction on the monitor, shown on a screen rather than in person.2016-09-22July 06 20122012-07-06Video cameras on tripods and a broadcast monitor setup in a temple hall, filming a satsang event. The left monitor shows two men in white and saffron-red ritual clothes seated at microphones, one wearing a red and white garland and the other with a bare shaved head. The right monitor displays a multi-panel grid of smaller video feeds showing devotees seated and standing, a woman in a light sari bowing, and a decorated altar with a deity murti in the lower right. Blurred red curtains and a pale wall form the background.2010-12-28A woman with long dreadlocks tied back, wearing dark-rimmed glasses, a black top with a patterned panel, and a beaded necklace, works at a video production control desk. She reaches toward the mixer's buttons and sliders while wearing an earpiece. A monitor above shows a multi-window video feed of several people in orange and white clothing with red and gold backdrops, including a figure in an orange turban-style head covering. A man's shoulder and head are visible at the right edge of the frame. Mixing consoles and additional screens fill the background.2016-10-11A production control area with several large monitors on a dark desk showing multiple video feeds, including a grid of small images, a mountain landscape and a crowd scene. Cables and laptops sprawl across the floor. In the foreground, a bald man in a white shirt works at a laptop, and a woman in an orange and red sari sits cross-legged on a mat with a laptop. A person in an orange garment works at a monitor at lower left, and a man in a white shirt stands at upper right. A tripod-mounted camera and a red curtain appear at the top left.2012-04-08A photograph of a studio or broadcast control setup. A man with a shaved head, wearing an orange-red robe and a long grey rudraksha-style mala, sits on a red chair at the right, looking toward a rack of video equipment. On the left, a monitor shows a grid of ceremonial images of a figure in ornate golden and red attire decorated with flowers. Nearby stand a laptop, a second monitor displaying text, a mixing or switching console, cables, a black bag and a studio stand. The man is a person seated in a production space, not a depicted figure, and no identity is asserted from appearance.2015-08-30January 11 20132013-01-11
