Three people in saffron-orange and red-brown robes with gold-striped borders stand around a copper-coloured, carved base wrapped with white garlands and red flowers. The man on the left, bare-chested with rudraksha beads, holds the pole's top. The central figure, wearing a red garland, layered beaded necklaces and a gold pendant, holds a white cloth band. The man on the right, shaved-headed with a rudraksha mala, pulls the white cloth and steadies it. Palm trees and greenery fill the background. Rudraksha, garlands and white cloth are visible. A bare-chested man in a red-maroon dhoti with saffron-yellow borders and a red and gold garland pulls a long rope tied to a tall copper flagstaff topped with green leaves. Beside him, a shaved-headed priest in a maroon dhoti with yellow border supports the pole, and another man in a dhoti stands behind. The copper pillar is decorated with a yellow garland and a base wrapped in red and purple flowers. Brass horns and drummers appear at the left edge, and a red stone platform surrounds the base.2014-11-26Outdoors under palm trees and a grey sky, several devotees in rust-red and saffron dhotis hoist a flag up a tall copper flagstaff on a red stone base. Two men in the foreground pull ropes; one, bare-chested, stretches his arms high. A younger man on the right wears a long garland of yellow and orange flowers with a rudraksha mala draped over his shoulders. Onlookers in saffron stand behind the pole and a stone sculpture is at the base. The scene reflects a flag-hoisting ceremony at a temple compound.2014-10-05January 04 20152015-01-04March 01 20162016-03-01 +1 copiesNovember 26 20142014-11-26Outdoor ritual photo beneath tall palm trees. In the centre, a man in a dark maroon robe with a long white cloth draped over his shoulders and a rudraksha mala around his neck and a garland of white flowers and red roses holds a white cloth and gazes upward. To the left stands a carved wooden kalasha-like pot topped with a bundle of straw and green mango leaves, decorated with white flower garlands and yellow marigolds. On the right, a bare-chested priest with a sacred thread wears an orange and yellow-bordered dhoti and holds a woven basket. A tall gold-toned structure is visible behind them.
