A seated group of about twenty adults practise breathing meditation on red-and-blue striped mats in a bright, plain hall with pale walls and large windows. Most wear white or pastel clothing, several in saffron or teal, with a few in traditional saris and salwar. Many hold one nostril closed or fingers near the face, and some sit with eyes closed. Lanyards hang from several necks, and bags, a folded cushion and a steel water bottle lie on the mats. No a person candidate is clearly identifiable by the cues described.
