A man seated on an ornate gold-and-red throne, wearing a saffron-orange dhoti wrap, a rudraksha mala and ceremonial beads, and with a yellow-and-orange tilak on his forehead, scoops and offers food from a large silver bowl with his right hand. A younger man in a white t-shirt, jeans and a red-orange shawl leans forward to take the food from the seated man's hand while another portion sits in a silver dish. Banana leaves, steel pots and rice-like food are on the table, with scattered grains on the cloth. Behind them, women in red and white saris and garlanded attire stand near blue curtains, and a few other people are partially visible.2015-12-20 +2 copiesJanuary 06 20122012-01-06July 10 20132013-07-10 +1 copiesA seated man on an ornate gold-and-red throne serves cooked rice from a silver bowl into the cupped hands of a young boy in white kurta with a red shawl. The seated man wears a deep orange-red wrap, a dark turban-style head covering, and a layered rudraksha mala with a gold necklace. Behind them, people in white dhotis and cream sarees with red sashes stand near steel pots of food, and a woman in a cream saree looks on from the right. The scene shows food being distributed at a ritual meal in a tented hall, with rice grains scattered on a white-covered table and a banana leaf. A plausible reading is annadan or prasadam distribution.2015-12-20A buffet serving line of steel pots with a yellow rice dish on a patterned cloth, in a pink-walled hall with a golden cobra-hood canopy at left. A man in a white shirt and blue lanyard holds a serving spoon and wears plastic gloves, while an older woman in a green checked top and blue hairnet ladles food beside him. A young man in white clothing with a shawl and a man in a white shirt stand in the background, and a man in a white shirt near the door at left attends the line. The scene reflects an ashram annadan meal service.2011-11-26 +1 copiesDecember 20 20152015-12-20A seated man in saffron-orange robes with a rudraksha mala and a dark swept-up hairstyle sits on an ornate gold throne-like seat, extending a leaf plate toward a child.
