Beside him, a woman in a white and gold-bordered sari and blue hairnet serves from the bowl. At right, a bare-chested, bespectacled man in white dhoti and rudraksha mala takes a handful of the rice onto a banana leaf over steel trays. Behind them, women in cream kasavu saris stand on the floor, and a young girl in a green top and blue skirt watches. Saffron-robed devotees stand in the background. This appears to be a naivedyam offering for a festival.2017-08-14A photo of a seated man in an ornate golden throne with red cushions, wearing a red-orange shawl, orange-gold cloth and a beaded rudraksha-style mala, serving rice from a silver bowl.
