A bare-chested man in a white and green dhoti kneels over a brass tray, bent forward with his head down, working on an orange-yellow clay or turmeric figure with a small brush. A red and white sacred thread and rudraksha-style beads hang on his back. Behind him stand a basket of bananas, apples and other fruit, a small silver kalasha-type vessel, and orange powder scattered on the tray. A wrist bears silver bangles and coloured threads. The scene is a ritual setting with offerings.

A photograph of a man in orange robes kneeling on a concrete floor in a plain workshop, working on a sculpture of a seated bull on a black slate board. He wears an orange turban and an orange robe draped over his shoulders, with his long dark hair falling behind him. His hands shape a dark clay or wax form lying beside the bull, and other clay figures and a bowl sit on the board. Behind him, a metal pot, a blue bucket, rolled sheets and a wooden board with a carved bull are visible, and a partially visible second person in white sits at the left edge. A dark framed picture hangs on the back wall, and an orange-robed figure is shown in a sculpture-making setting.

A man in a white short-sleeved shirt and white dhoti leans over a reclining wooden figure lying on a dark workbench, carving or finishing its face with a small tool. The figure is a dark-brown wooden sculpture of a reclining human form with bare legs and feet. Two carving knives with yellow handles lie on the table, a small white paper cup sits nearby, and a black chair stands against a pale concrete wall with a striped cloth hanging above. Wood shavings are scattered on the floor.

A man in a white shirt and white dhoti sits on a mat in an open workshop shaping a dark cast figure of a seated bull with a wooden tool. The bull rests on a small wooden plinth on a blue tarp, with wax or clay pieces and leather-like sheets nearby. Metal rods and tongs hang on a cinder-block wall behind him, and a blue bucket and sacks sit in the background. The scene shows sculpture casting work in progress, consistent with metal casting at a sacred arts workshop.

A man in a white sleeveless vest stands behind a dark work table in a plain whitewashed room, holding up a small polished gold-coloured metal figure of a standing deity with a tall crown, a halo-like disc behind the head and raised arms holding objects. Around him on the table are rough brown clay or mud sculpture pieces, including a large clay figure with a curved trunk-like form, an elephant-headed or animal-headed form, and other unfinished limbs. An orange plastic bucket sits at left and a small fire or burning incense stick glows near the table's base. The scene shows an idol-making workshop with clay modelling and casting in progress.

A photograph taken at night on bare reddish earth showing one man seated cross-legged, working on a wooden log with a wooden-handled mallet and a chisel. He wears a white shirt and white trousers over a yellow undershirt, with a white cloth at his waist. Around him lie scattered metal tools, a flat bronze-coloured sheet, a stone mortar and a plastic water bottle. A watermarked corner has been ignored. No person in the frame is identified as a person.

A photograph of a man in a white shirt and white dhoti working at an outdoor table, using a handheld power tool to carve a pale stone or plaster relief of a decorative floral or lotus-like form resting on a brown cloth. He wears a rudraksha mala with a small red pendant and a gold wristwatch. Behind him, another man in white dhoti walks past, and a seated child sits near a bamboo-framed shelter. A steel cup sits on the table at right.

A close photo of two hands shaping a small dark clay figurine of a standing seated-style human figure with outstretched arms. One hand holds the figure steady while the other, holding a reddish-brown wooden modelling tool, carves fine lines along its torso and drapery. A second, partly formed clay piece lies on the grey surface in the background, and a white cloth with a red-and-black edge is visible at the right. No physical person is visible beyond the hands, and the figure is a sculpture, not a person depiction.

A photograph of a stone carver at an outdoor work area with sandy ground and an orange-painted building behind. A man in a white sleeveless undershirt and white cloth kneels and strikes a chisel with a hammer against a large grey stone block. Two standing men beside him wear an orange cloth with yellow borders on the left and white dhotis with red borders on the right. A metal sink and a hammer head in the foreground frame the scene. Small yellow flowers lie on the ground.
