A craftsman in a white sleeveless vest and orange cloth sits at a workbench in an open workshop, chiselling a long pale wooden plank clamped to the table. Wood shavings cover the floor, and stacked planks, turned wooden pillars, a yellow plastic bag, a blue checked cloth and tools are scattered around the brick wall. A carved wooden piece lies at the left edge.

A photo of three men carving a large pale wooden figure of a seated bull. The man on the left in a white dhoti with yellow borders and a white shirt uses a chisel on the sculpture. The central figure in a grey-striped shirt with an orange cloth over his shoulder sits in the background with a tool. The man on the right in a white shirt and white shorts hammers a wooden mallet against the carving. Green and blue pencil guidelines mark the wood, and wooden beams frame the scene.

A man in a white and blue striped polo shirt and maroon lungi squats barefoot on a dusty floor, chiselling a plank with a wooden mallet and chisel. Wood shavings and offcuts surround him, with stacked timber and tools on the ground, a plastic bag, and a red and navy backpack against a concrete wall. A small orange thread is tied on his wrist. The scene reads as a workshop carpentry task.

A man in a white sleeveless vest stands behind a dark work table in a plain whitewashed room, holding up a small polished gold-coloured metal figure of a standing deity with a tall crown, a halo-like disc behind the head and raised arms holding objects. Around him on the table are rough brown clay or mud sculpture pieces, including a large clay figure with a curved trunk-like form, an elephant-headed or animal-headed form, and other unfinished limbs. An orange plastic bucket sits at left and a small fire or burning incense stick glows near the table's base. The scene shows an idol-making workshop with clay modelling and casting in progress.

Photograph of artisans carving a pale wooden bull. Two men in white dhotis and shirts sit on the floor working on the carving: the man on the left uses a chisel or carving tool, and the man on the right strikes with a wooden mallet. A third man in the background wears a grey shirt with an orange shawl and has a tilak on his forehead, seated near stacked timber planks. Wood shavings litter the floor.

A photograph of a craftsman seated on the ground in a workshop, sculpting an unfinished clay figure of a seated deity-like form. The man wears a white checked button-up shirt and a yellow dhoti, and works on the figure's arm with his hands. The clay figure is unpainted and rough, with a head and torso still being shaped. Behind him are corrugated metal sheets and an orange wall with a dark red door. A yellow bucket and tools rest on a workbench. No visible candidate for a person is present, only a craftsman and an unfinished statue.

A workshop photograph showing a large pale wooden bull statue, a nandi-style figure with red-tipped horns and an ornamented saddle band, being worked on by a man in a white vest and maroon dhoti who touches its head. In the foreground a man in a white shirt and white dhoti sits on the floor working near the statue's base, with an older man in a checked shirt beside him. Behind them are racks of brass lamps, a gilded chair and metal stands, and to the right a grey stone bust of a man with a shaved head sits on the floor. The yellow walls and corrugated roof frame the scene.
