Foreground men in white and cream shirts and a man in a bright orange-and-red striped polo walk toward the viewer. Behind them, several men in white dhotis and shirts, some wearing yellow shawls and rudraksha malas, walk across a sandy courtyard with circular patterns. An older man in a saffron-orange garment stands near the centre. A row of blue plastic chairs and a black speaker stand at the right side beside a red-doored building and green shrubs. Roughly thirty people are visible.2010-07-15June 19 20142014-06-19A photograph inside a temple corridor with a thatched palm-leaf roof and wooden railings. A group walks down a tiled path toward a small stone shrine on the right. In the centre, a man in white dhoti and shirt presses his palms together in greeting. Beside him, a long-haired figure in orange robes walks with head bowed, and a bearded sannyasi in orange with a rudraksha mala follows at right. Several men in white shirts and dhotis accompany them, and a uniformed security guard in blue stands at far right. A woman in a red saree appears at left edge.2009-08-08Outdoor photo of a devotee procession at a temple-like complex beside a grey concrete wall and a tree on the left. In the foreground a man in a white kurta walks barefoot, and a man in an orange robe and orange turban stands near the right edge. Several saffron-robed sadhus stand on a raised concrete platform behind a metal railing, some with bare heads and arms extended. Men in white and dark shirts stand in the crowd, and on the left several people wear red and orange turbans and colourful dhotis near the tree. Multiple people are visible, the scene reads as a visiting ceremonial gathering with saffron-clad monastics and devotees.2010-01-28February 02 20072007-02-02A photograph of a crowd gathered outdoors on a paved hexagonal-tile path beside a red-and-white painted platform edge. In the foreground, a shaven-headed man in an orange-saffron robe walks barefoot, followed by a line of men in white dhotis and white kurtas with yellow shawls draped over their shoulders; one carries an orange umbrella. Onlookers in white, pink and striped shirts stand along the path, several with hands folded in namaskar. A small potted palm sits at the right edge, and a building with red doors and a small banyan-style structure appears behind.2010-07-04A photograph of a crowd gathered at an open doorway of a temple or ashram hall. In the centre, two shaved-headed priests with bare upper bodies wear rust-red and maroon dhotis with gold borders and red wraps, with white sacred markings on their arms. To the right, a woman in an orange saree and a rudraksha mala stands beside women in white. Men in white dhotis and shirts, one in a grey cap, surround them under green trees.2014-08-24June 19 20142014-06-19A photograph of a crowd descending a whitewashed stone staircase with red-painted bands on the side wall, under trees. In the centre, a figure in saffron-orange robes wears a garland of yellow and orange flowers around the neck and walks down the steps, with a second saffron-robed attendant in front of him. Around them, men in white dhotis and white shirts wear ID lanyards, and women in saris and a woman in purple walk along the handrails. Several saffron-robed figures and people in casual clothing are visible on the stairs and landings. The figure in the garland is an appearance-based candidate, but the cues are limited to saffron robes and a garland, so identity is uncertain.2010-02-17
