To the right, a man with long dark hair, a saffron/orange head wrap, an orange robe with gold borders and a rudraksha-style bead mala stands smiling and raising one hand while holding a golden plate. Beside him a bald man in orange robes holds the plate's edge. A row of devotees with folded hands stands on the left under trees and palms, and a stone statue of a seated figure appears in the background.2011-07-15November 06 20102010-11-06Outdoor temple ritual beside a tall copper kalasha on a stone base, wrapped with a yellow cloth and decorated with white and red flower garlands. A man in orange robes and a saffron shawl with gold borders stands on the platform, holding a small bell and a lamp near the kalasha. Behind him a woman in orange garments holds a brass tray and a second lamp. Palm trees and grey stone deity sculptures appear in the background, and a few onlookers in white clothing stand at the left. A man with long swept-back hair and a rudraksha-style necklace stands at the platform; his appearance is consistent with the page reference, though this is uncertain.2011-07-15A copper-clad ritual pillar with a carved base stands in the foreground, wrapped with orange cloth and draped with white jasmine garlands and red flowers. Two men in saffron-orange robes perform a ritual beside it. The man in the centre, with a gold-bordered orange cloth over his shoulder and a gold waist belt, raises a white flower in his right hand while his left hand is extended toward the pillar. The bare-chested man on the right wears an orange wrap and holds a brass vessel. A grey stone figure and palm trees stand behind. About a dozen devotees watch from the left, some with hands folded in prayer. Palm trees and foliage frame the outdoor scene.2011-07-15Outdoor ritual scene beside a large copper kalasha on a red-painted base, decorated with red and white flower garlands and green leaves, with a bundle of grass on top. A man with long dark hair and a dark beard, wearing a rust-orange dhoti and a matching shawl, stands on a raised platform holding a small silver bell and a ritual vessel, apparently speaking or chanting. Behind him are palm trees and a metal ringed structure. A crowd of devotees, many in white, stands watching on the left. A rail with a person in dark clothing is visible at lower right. Dhoti and shawl in rust-orange; garlands in red, white and yellow marigold.2017-01-01November 29 20162016-11-29 +1 copiesOutdoor photograph at a flag-hoisting post, a tall copper pole wrapped with a red cloth and draped with yellow and red marigold garlands at its base. A man in a saffron-orange robe with dark shoulder-length hair and a rudraksha mala raises one hand beside the pole, while a second man in orange holds a silver bowl and a brass plate with flower offerings. Coconut palms and a cloudy sky fill the background, and a few people in orange and white stand at the edge of the platform. Swamiji (probable) is the saffron-robed man with long hair and rudraksha beads, performing the flag-hoisting ritual with the bowl-holding attendant.2008-03-23Outdoor temple ritual beside a tall copper-clad pillar with a carved stepped base, garlanded with white flower strings and red blossoms, and wrapped with an orange cloth.
