Scientific Research on Brain Activity during Kundalini Awakening in the presence of Paramahamsa Nithyananda on the auspicious Guru Purnima day this 15th of July, 2011 Research on Brain Wave Activity (aka energy activation) during Kundalini Awakening by Paramahamsa Nithyananda

A team of qualified doctors and practitioners professionals in medical research and in the area of neuro feedback and QEEG has been conducting scientific studies on the Kundalini Awakening process of Paramahamsa Nithyananda at Nithyananda Dhyanapeetam. The study is being conducted by research doctor and leading scientist Dr. Krishna Rao and Kanak Panday, a practicing psychologist for the last 27 years. Kanak Panday has been practicing exclusively in neuro feedback and QEEG for 10 years.

Background of Technique The technique being used was started by NASA to train fighter pilots and is now used worldwide to read brain wave signals and to interpret and help treat various brain/mental disorders.

Equipment Used for this research QEEQ (Quantiative electro encephalogram), is a sophisticated equipment approved by the FDA and conforms to the CE Standards, is being used to record the brain waves. All data is being recorded on the Nexus 32 QEEG machine which is approved for the work. This equipment is being operated by a team of trained technicians under the supervision of Kanak Panday following all standards.

In Swamiji Paramahamsa Nithyananda’s presence the Kundalini Awakening was studied / recorded according to the researchers requirements. While those who were experiencing the Kundalini Awakening in Paramahamsa Nithyananda’s presence need no proof, this study scientifically demonstrates the Awakening of Kundalini Energy in the Presence of Paramahamsa NIthyananda.

Live Experiment on July 15th

While the experiments were being done to the satisfaction of the researchers on July 13th and 14th, on the 15th of July the experiment is conducted live in front of the media as both Dr. Krishna Rao and Kanak Panday explained about their findings as well as read the readings of the live experiment. The researchers also made themselves available to answer questions from the media before and after the experiment were presented to the media. Swamiji Paramahamsa Nithyananda himself threw open to all questions related to the process to any persons from the media.

Results

The actual observations were astounding and prominent. Kanak Panday stated previously in all her years of practicing that she has not seen brain wave activity like in these experiments of Kundalini awakening in the presence of Paramahamsa Nithyananda.

Although the researchers were available at any time for clarification, the media has misunderstood and misinterpreted the experiment. Results of these tests are scientific facts and it is the obligation of media to understand them prior to reporting.

Due to the importance of this research which is being followed by FDA standards, it is requested that regulatory body look into this matter and rectify the reporting of this data. It is not understood by media how important this research is to mankind and the potential to help many brain/mental disorders.

It is also worth noting that other research projects in relation to energy activation, meditation and yoga at Nithyananda Dhyanapeetam has been approved by Ohio State Medical School in the United States, serious research is in progress using well established scientific protocols.
