May 19 20132013-05-19A photograph of a seated figure in an orange-red shawl over a saffron garment, wearing a beaded rudraksha-style necklace with gold beads and a red bindi, with long swept-back dark hair; this figure is on an ornate gold-and-red throne with velvet cushions against red drapes. Before them a man in a white short-sleeved shirt and white trousers kneels on the red platform, his back to the camera, with an orange-red cloth draped over his shoulders, receiving the seated figure's gesture. Probable Swamiji cues: long swept-back hair, saffron/orange clothing, rudraksha-style beaded necklace, seated on a gold throne. The scene is a devotee receiving blessing during a seated programme.2013-05-19February 09 20122012-02-09February 09 20122012-02-09February 09 20122012-02-09A seated man in an orange saffron robe with a gold-bead and gold-ornament necklace, long dark hair tied back, places both hands on the forehead of a kneeling devotee in a white shirt and white dhoti. The seated figure sits on an ornate gold-and-red throne with carved gold panels. Trays of purple-wrapped sweets sit on a wooden side table and a red-covered surface nearby, and a pink wall with a dark curtain forms the backdrop.2011-02-20A photograph of a devotee in a white kurta with a white thread at the neck, seen from behind, palms raised toward a seated man in a red-brown turban and saffron-orange robe. The seated man sits before an ornate gold throne with carved floral relief and a red cushion, a silver staff leans at left against red drapery, and the two exchange a palm-to-palm greeting. Another orange-robed attendant is partly visible at the left edge. Two physical people are visible.2018-01-10November 25 20112011-11-25A photo of a seated man on an ornate gold throne with carved floral scrollwork and a red velvet cushion, wearing a white flower garland and reddish-brown robe with a red tilak on his forehead, smiling with eyes closed. An older man in a white kurta with an orange-trimmed shawl and gold bracelet leans in, hands raised, touching the seated man's head in a blessing gesture. A partially visible figure with long dark hair and a beard in orange-brown clothing and beaded mala sits at left, and red velvet drapes hang behind. Swamiji (probable): the seated man on the throne shows long hair, flower garland and saffron-toned robe cues.2016-10-01 +1 copiesA photograph in a ceremonial hall with red velvet drapery and gilded furniture. A seated figure with swept-back dark hair, a red bindi and a gold bead necklace wears an orange-red shawl over orange garments, sits on a gold-framed throne with a red velvet cushion, and is being honoured. A man in a white shirt and white dhoti stands before the throne, his right hand touching the seated figure's forehead while his left hand is raised. A younger man in a white shirt and a rudraksha mala stands at the left edge, and another person's head is visible in the lower right corner. The scene shows a blessing or greeting ritual. The page attributes the event to a person, but the seated figure's appearance is not sufficiently distinctive to confirm an identity.2013-05-19May 14 20132013-05-14A photograph of a man in a white dhoti and white shirt with an orange-saffron sash, seen from behind with his grey-haired head bowed, while a bearded man with long swept-back dark hair, wearing a saffron cloth, brown rudraksha beads and ornate gold necklaces, places his right hand on the first man's head in blessing. He sits before a large ornate gold throne with a red cushioned back. A hand holding a thin ceremonial cord or bundle is visible at the left edge, and a bangled wrist appears at left. The scene reads as a blessing or initiation moment at a throne. Swamiji (probable) is the bearded figure with long hair, saffron cloth, rudraksha and gold necklaces seated on the throne.2016-07-17
