A standing man in an orange sleeveless robe and long swept-back dark hair, wearing a purple and white orchid garland and a gold chain, with a red bindi on his forehead, presses his palms together in front of his chest. He stands on a white cloth-covered platform beside a golden brass oil lamp (deepam) and a golden ceremonial stand. To the left, a man in an orange robe holds a silver tray. Behind, two women in white and blue saris look on. On the right, a white marble statue of a deity or saint in red garments and a red headpiece is garlanded with yellow, white and purple flowers, with a large painted image of a bull behind. Trees and a stone colonnade frame the open-air hall. Probable Swamiji cues: long swept-back hair, orange robe, orchid garland and gold necklace.

He wears a red headband with a peacock feather, a long white and red flower garland, and a gold bracelet, with long dark hair. Behind him people in white and orange clothing and red headbands gather, and a man in a dark suit and red headband stands at left. Evening aarti ceremony outdoors near a pink ornate temple pillar. A man in a saffron-orange robe with a gold-bead necklace and red tilak stands centre, holding a multi-tiered brass oil lamp (aarti lamp) with flames aloft. Beside him, a figure in white ritual clothing with a gold necklace holds a golden staff with a trident, and other devotees in orange and white stand nearby. Golden trident-topped staffs are visible at left. A man in a blue shirt and a woman in an orange shawl also hold lamps at right. Crowd members stand behind. Probable Swamiji cues: long swept-back hair, saffron robe, gold ceremonial necklace, and the Swamiji role of performing the aarti at the centre of the scene.

A photograph of a ritual aarti at dusk on a raised white-and-red platform before a pillared temple structure. A central figure with long dark hair swept back, wearing a saffron-orange shawl with gold border and layered gold-bead necklaces, holds a multi-tiered brass oil lamp with lit flames. Around him, others hold similar lamps: a bald man in white dhoti with orange shawl and beaded necklace, a woman in orange and red, and a man in a blue striped shirt. Brass trishula staffs stand in the background and a dark stone Shiva lingam sits in the foreground. The performers are touching lamps toward the flames in a group aarti.

A photograph of a long-haired man in an orange saffron garment wearing multiple garlands of white jasmine, yellow marigolds, red roses and green leaves. He holds a brass aarti lamp with a flame and smoke rising from it, and a brass bell in his other hand, during a ritual. A white corrugated roof and blue sky form the background. Given the page's Swamiji flag and his long hair, orange clothing and garlands, this appears to be Swamiji (probable), performing aarti as a priest at the ceremony.
