A photograph of a seated group gathered in a red-walled, pillared courtyard with potted plants and hanging decorations. At the centre, a man in saffron-orange robes with a bare chest and a mala holds a microphone and gestures while speaking to the seated audience. Behind him sits a large elephant-headed deity murti draped with a garland of orange and yellow flowers. Nearby, several saffron-clad men stand, one holding a ceremonial kalasha-style vessel and a trident. Around them, many devotees sit on the floor in saffron, yellow, green and white garments, while a woman in a pink sari stands at the right. A video camera on a tripod and a standing fan are visible among the crowd.2016-09-08Outdoor photograph of a large seated gathering under a green shade net at a small tiled-roof open pavilion. Dozens of participants sit on mats and cloth: many wear saffron/orange robes, others wear white dhotis and blouses, and a woman in a pink patterned sari sits at the right edge. A man in orange robes sits centrally at the front of the pavilion, seemingly speaking to the group, with a trident and decorated pillars and a kalasha-style urn nearby. Camera tripods, a video camera on a stand and a large black bag are in the foreground, and a bright cloth banner with garlands hangs at the pavilion roof. Many people are visible, far more than a hundred seated in front and around the pavilion.2018-05-24September 10 20162016-09-10A photograph of a pada puja ceremony in a open-sided tent with green and maroon draped cloth. A seated figure in saffron-orange robes with a red shawl and garland sits on a gold ornate throne with a golden canopy above. In front of the throne, devotees in orange and saffron robes sit on red and patterned rugs, several with hands folded or raised in greeting. Men and women in white dhotis and yellow or white saris sit on the floor at right, with brass and steel bowls of fruit, sweets and offerings arranged on a rug. A woman in a purple sari sits near the left with a flower in her hair. Bananas, apples and sweets lie among the offerings.2009-11-17 +1 copiesAugust 08 20172017-08-08September 19 20162016-09-19A photograph of a satsang-style gathering in a hall with red curtains. A long-haired man in a rust-orange robe with rudraksha malas sits on an ornate white-and-red throne, gesturing with both hands as he speaks. Seated devotees in white clothes with orange-and-maroon shawls surround him on the floor, some on mats. A silver trident stands beside the throne, and a tripod-mounted camera is visible at left. Probable Swamiji cues: long swept-back hair, rudraksha malas and orange robe while seated on the throne; he is presented as the teacher. Many attendees are seated and visible, with some chairs empty in the background.2017-09-20A photograph of a seated satsang gathering in a red-walled outdoor courtyard. On the left, a man with long dark hair and a red-orange robe sits in front of a large red and gold Ganesha murti with an elephant head, holding a microphone and speaking. Around him, a large crowd sits cross-legged on a white floor: women in saris and salwar kameez in yellow, blue, green and pink, men in white kurta and orange clothing, a small child in the centre, and several Western-looking attendees in white and red tops. Pillars, a hanging bell and a potted tree frame the scene, and a few people stand in the background. The setting appears to be an ashram courtyard during a question and answer or discourse session.2014-09-14September 19 20162016-09-19A photograph of a large seated gathering in an ornate temple courtyard with red pillars and carved stone. A central man in an orange-red dhoti and shawl stands holding a microphone and speaking to the crowd; a person (his appearance shows long swept-back hair and orange-red clothing, but the image is not clear enough to confirm). Behind him sits a large clay Ganesha murti adorned with a marigold garland. Devotees sit on the floor in orange, saffron, white and purple clothes, several with long grey and black braids and some men bare-chested with white dhotis and sacred threads. Brass lamps and a trident stand near the pillars, and a small figure stands at the left edge.2016-09-10October 21 20152015-10-21 +1 copiesDecember 23 20092009-12-23
