Photograph of a shrine interior with a seated figure in orange robes and an orange turban, viewed from behind, facing a Nataraja-style bronze dancing Shiva image framed by a circular halo of marigold, red and white flower garlands. Oil lamps hang from a bamboo ceiling, a brass standing lamp stands at right, and flower petals and offerings lie on a white and red painted platform. A green curtain hangs at left and a framed picture is mounted on the wall above. The seated figure is a priest or devotee at worship; no identity is established from appearance.2003-01-012003 - First Healers Initiation At AdiKailaasa2003-01-01A photograph of a shrine with a bamboo-panelled ceiling and a framed painting of a multi-armed deity above. A bronze Nataraja-style arch, ringed with marigold and jasmine garlands, frames a bronze figure in orange cloth and garlands. In front, a seated person in an orange robe and orange turban, bare-shouldered, holds a tall golden staff upright toward the figure. Brass oil lamps hang from the ceiling and a standing brass lamp stands on the right. Flower petals and garlands cover the raised white platform with red and blue borders, and a brass bowl sits in front. One person is visible.2003-01-01A photograph inside a temple hall with a golden throne and red cushion at left. A shaved-headed man in an orange-red robe with gold border stands on an orange mat, both arms raised with hands at his head, holding flower garlands and wearing a rudraksha mala and a gold ceremonial necklace. Beside him a woman in a white sari with green border kneels and holds a tray of pink flowers. Behind, an orange-robed man with long hair and gold necklace looks up, and several people stand near a doorway. A white cooler sits in the foreground. The man in the centre has a shaved head and white ritual look rather than distinctive long hair or crown, so no a person identification is made here.2012-06-02October 01 20072007-10-01January 17 20082008-01-17A photograph of a stone Shivalinga on a tiered black stone yoni-peetha being bathed in water during abhishekam at an open temple pavilion with grey stone pillars and a red curtain. A man in a peach-orange dhoti and shawl leans over the linga pouring water from a brass kalasha, while another person with long dark hair in orange robes stands beside it. A bald young man in orange robes holds a second brass pot at the right, and a shaved priest in orange sits at the far right near a tall brass lamp stand. Water flows down the linga onto the wet stone floor. No swami identity can be confirmed from appearance alone.2007-02-23A photograph of a priest in saffron-orange robes with a matching head cloth and a rudraksha mala, standing at a shrine and holding a long wooden staff upright in both hands. Before him, a large framed portrait of a smiling man with long dark hair, a red bindi and an orange robe, raises one hand in blessing; the portrait is garlanded with white and yellow flower strings and red roses. Beneath it sits a deity murti draped in a green cloth, surrounded by marigolds, and brass oil lamps stand on either side. A banner behind shows a larger printed image. The priest appears to be performing a shrine ritual with the staff.2007-09-30A photograph of a stone shivalingam set on a lotus-shaped stone base being bathed with water during abhishekam in a stone-pillared hall. A man with curly dark hair in an orange-saffron dhoti and shawl pours water from a brass vessel over the lingam. Behind him, another person in orange robes with a white forehead mark pours water, and a young man in orange robes stands watching at right, while a shaved-headed person in orange and white ritual cloth is partly visible at the far right edge. Water runs down the lingam into the base. Four people are visible.2007-02-23June 05 20122012-06-052003 -Glimpses From Various Programs2003-01-012002 - Glimpses From Various Programs +2 copies
