A festival procession on an open road shows a decorated ratha-style palanquin carrying a gilded deity murti seated with a trident and a crowned consort figure, both draped in garlands of marigold and multicolour flowers. A tall multicoloured canopy with fringe shades the murti, and striped cloth decorates the frame. Two young men in white kurtas and white dhotis stand on the palanquin frame, one holding a pole, while a man in a striped white sleeveless shirt crouches in front. A circular fan-like bright panel and a tree appear behind.

A decorated procession vehicle with a multicoloured canopy supported by painted pillars, carrying two deity murtis draped in garlands of marigolds and multicoloured flowers. One murti wears a tall crown and gold ornaments; a seated figure wears a red and green garment. Attendants in white kurtas and dhotis stand on the platform steadying the canopy and holding round ceremonial fans. In the foreground, men in white clothes and rudraksha malas walk alongside the vehicle, one holding a white identification badge. A sunny outdoor setting with trees and a distant hill is visible behind.

Night procession with a decorated palanquin carrying a deity murti under a large arch of pink, green, yellow and purple garlands and paisley-edged bands. On the left, a long-haired figure in orange robes and a rudraksha mala walks beside a colourful fringed umbrella, appearing to be a person candidate in a procession. Around the palanquin, men in white dhotis and shirts, some with rudraksha malas, carry and walk alongside it; a smiling man in a white shirt sits front right. Several people crowd the frame and the scene is lit by night lighting.

A night-time photograph of a religious procession. At centre, a decorated palanquin or utsava murti carries a deity figure garlanded with yellow, orange and red flowers beneath a multicoloured umbrella. Several men in white dhotis and shirts grip the long wooden poles of the palanquin. In the foreground a figure with long dark hair wears an orange saffron wrap and holds a pole, appearing to be a sannyasi, but this figure's appearance does not clearly establish identity, so no identification is made. Devotees in white and orange clothing stand around, with string lights and tassels visible overhead.

A photograph of an outdoor temple-style ritual at a shrine, with two large decorated deity murtis framed by long garlands of white, yellow, red and purple flowers. In the centre, a figure with long dark hair and a red garment sits in front of the murtis, while a man in white with an orange shawl stands to the right beside a small framed image. Around them, several people in white clothes and orange shawls stand and watch, and a video camera is set up in the foreground. Palm fronds frame the left edge of the image, and a golden ceremonial staff is visible at lower left. Red drapes hang behind the shrine.

Outdoor procession on a decorated float carrying a pair of deity murtis dressed in white and blue cloth and heavy yellow marigold garlands, with fruit, coconuts and mango offered on a mat below. A man in orange robes with long dark hair stands on the float, his hands near the murtis. Beside him, a man in orange robes sits with palms pressed together in namaskar. Red and yellow tasselled umbrellas shade the float, and a colourful flower garland arch rises behind it. Devotees in white and orange stand around, a woman in orange in the foreground, under a clear blue sky.

Outdoor ceremony under a tin-roofed pavilion at an ashram, with red and orange triangular flags and decorated umbrellas in red, green and yellow. A large seated area of devotees in white and orange clothing faces forward. In the foreground, a man in white with a red-and-gold shawl stands near brass ritual vessels, flowers and a brass stand. Another man in white with a red tilak and a mala stands beside him holding a tray. On the right, a person in an orange garment with a long, loose hairstyle sits beside a carved wooden seat. Draped flower garlands in yellow and white hang nearby, and a pink-bordered cloth is visible on the left. Several elderly women in saris and onlookers fill the background.

Night procession with a deity murti carried on a decorated ratha or palanquin framed by a large arch of striped and pink flower garlands with yellow and green paper-like scallops. A man in a saffron-orange robe with long dark hair and a rudraksha mala looks up toward the deity, under an orange and blue decorated umbrella held by a man in white. Around them, men in white dhotis and shirts carry or steady the palanquin, and one man in a white shirt with a rudraksha mala and bangle leans in at right. Approximately ten people are visible.
