The palanquin carries a metal deity murti in a silver-and-gold crown and ornaments, garlanded with white, pink and green flower garlands and marigolds, with two smaller attendant figures in orange garments flanking it on an orange cloth. A small blue kalasha-style pot and a small green box sit on the road in front. Standing devotees behind, including a man in a blue-and-white checked shirt and a woman in a blue top, watch with hands folded. A copyright and source credit is printed in the lower right corner.2006-05-22A photograph of an outdoor procession on a paved road. A bare-chested man in long swept-back hair, an orange saffron wrap and a dark rudraksha mala walks at left, hands folded; the figure has distinctive long hair and saffron wrap cues, so this is a person candidate. A man in a white shirt and white dhoti, barefoot, carries a wooden palanquin-style frame decorated with red, pink and white garlands and yellow marigolds, with a golden finial on top. Two smaller attendant figures in orange flank the murti. Onlookers in white kurta-dhoti and white shirts stand behind, some holding silver staffs with trident-like tops; a rudraksha mala is visible on a standing man. Colorful yellow-and-red festival canopies overhead, a brass bell, a small blue pot labeled with text, and a kumkum box sit on the road. The kneeling man has long swept-back hair, a crown-less saffron shawl, and distinctive bare-chested devotional attire, consistent with the Swamiji (probable) cues described by the page; he is performing aarti as the officiant.2006-05-22Outdoor procession scene under bright sunlight with palm trees behind.
