A street photograph taken from inside a car, looking through the open front window at a narrow town road in Vellore, Tamil Nadu. Several people walk along the road and stand at the left edge, including a woman in an orange top and a woman in a yellow and green patterned sari with a long braid. A man in a white shirt and light trousers and a woman in red walk further up the road, with motorcycles and a few other figures beyond. A large roadside banner stretches across the street with a portrait of a person in white headwear and red-and-white Tamil text. Concrete buildings, banana plants, a tree and overhead power lines line the street under an overcast sky.

A silver SUV is stopped on a busy roadside street lined with shops, signboards and parked motorcycles. Through the open front passenger window, a figure in orange saffron robes is visible inside the vehicle. A man in a white shirt stands at the driver side with one hand on the door, and another man in a striped light-blue shirt with a gold bracelet leans in beside the window. Several onlookers in casual clothes crowd around the car, with more people visible along the street and a red flag on a pole in the background.

Photo taken through a car windscreen showing a street scene. A man's hand grips the steering wheel at lower left. On a whitewashed, weathered wall stand several red and white posters bearing portraits of a man with a saffron/orange turban and orange robes, with Tamil text and dates. A motorcycle with a rider and a passenger in a light sari pass in front of the wall. A blue metal container sits to the right, next to a small blue stool and a tarpaulin-covered stall. The posters show a probable Swamiji (probable) figure depicted in print, wearing a saffron turban and orange clothing. Trees and a yellow sign are visible in the background.

A busy street scene in a small Indian town under a hazy sky. In the centre, a man in a white shirt and light trousers rides a green bicycle with a basket on the front, while other cyclists and a man in a dark shirt ride nearby. On the left, parked motorcycles and scooters stand in front of thatched-roof shops with shuttered fronts. A woman in a sari walks on the right beside a yellow auto-rickshaw, and a white car passes at the edge. Utility poles and wires line the street.

A street scene in a small town at the foot of a rocky hill under a pale sky. A man in a checked lungi carries a large white sack on his head while walking along the road, and a woman in an orange sari carries a bundle on her head beside him. A boy in an orange-and-white checked shirt holds a yellow bag. Two other men walk on the left near a row of parked bicycles and a motorbike. Shopfronts have yellow and green walls, metal shutters, and tall painted signboards in Tamil script, along with paper posters on the walls and overhead electric cables.

A busy street scene in an Indian town with shuttered shopfronts on the left and a crowd of men and a woman walking along the roadside. Prominent posters are pinned to a utility pole: a black-and-white portrait of a smiling woman with a red bindi and a red-and-dark poster showing a woman's face in red light. Beside them a green banner displays a deity figure with a crown and gold ornaments, with small temple-shrine illustrations across the top. A Tamil signboard hangs on the left wall. A man in white shirt and blue lungi wears a red cap, and a person in saffron-orange garments stands near the centre. A woman in an orange-and-white sari is at the left edge.

A busy street in a South Indian town on a sunny day, lined with shade trees, small shops, and colourful umbrellas over stalls. A woman in an orange and blue sari carries a bag and walks away from the camera at left. A line of people in white dhotis and white saris walks along the road toward the right, with a silver sedan and a grey SUV parked in the lane between them. Men in white shirts and checked lungis stroll on the sidewalk at right. Power lines and signboards fill the background.
