August 03 20092009-08-03December 27 20092009-12-27Outdoor photograph of a procession moving along a stone-paved path in front of a temple gate and wall. A central figure in an orange-saffron head wrap and orange-saffron garment, with a gold necklace, walks with hands folded in greeting; this appearance matches the page's a person cue but the face and posture are not decisive, so the identity is uncertain. Around him, many men in white dhotis and white shirts, several with orange shawls, walk closely together, with some women in saris and a child in front. A yellow barrier, a green-and-white information board and a gate are visible behind them. A roughly sized crowd of physical people is visible.2007-01-12Outdoor street procession on a sunny day, viewed from behind. A man in an orange kurta and orange dhoti walks at left with a long dark hair and bare feet. Centre, a barefoot man in white kurta and white dhoti raises one hand high, with an orange scarf draped over his shoulder. Behind them, a crowd of men in white shirts and white dhotis, some with yellow or orange cloths, walk along a paved road. Orange flags and a decorated festival cart appear at upper right, and a small tiled-roof building stands behind. A partially visible man in a white shirt with a red and white emblem on his back walks at centre right.2009-01-12A group of about two dozen people walks along a dirt road lined with palm trees and leafy shrubs, with a white tent structure and banners visible behind them. At the centre, a figure in a saffron-orange robe walks barefoot, with long dark hair and an arm extended forward. Around them, men wear white kurtas and white dhotis, several with orange or yellow shawls draped over their shoulders, and some carry bags or flower garlands. A woman in a white head covering and a girl in a turquoise dress walk at the left edge. Several men on the right wear sandals and hold folded hands.2009-10-15A photograph of a dusty lane between walls and low buildings, with a palm tree and water tank in the background. A procession of several people walks away from the camera. In the foreground a man in white kurta and a saffron shawl with a dark beaded mala stands at the left edge. Behind him a woman in a cream sari carries a brass tray with flowers and offerings, followed by people in white clothing and one person in an orange garment. A pink building and a red-and-white signboard with Tamil script appear at the left.2010-02-18A photograph of a street procession outside a white building with a red-tiled roof. A central figure with long dark hair wears an orange saffron wrap and a red and white flower garland, walking barefoot on a dirt road. Around him, men in white shirts and white dhotis walk with several women in white saris and a boy in a black shorts and white shirt holding a hand. Parked cars, a pink building with a poster of a child's face, and palm trees are visible. Several people are visible, so the count is roughly twenty or fewer.2009-01-10Outdoor street scene in a narrow town lane lined with white and pale buildings, with strings of small white flags overhead. Around him, men in white dhotis and orange shawls, some wearing rudraksha malas, walk among onlookers. A man in a white checked shirt in the foreground gestures with his finger, and several boys in shirts stand close by, watching. Roughly a dozen or more people are visible.2007-01-12June 24 20142014-06-24 +1 copiesJanuary 02 20102010-01-02 +1 copiesOutdoor street scene in a rural Tamil village on a dusty road lined with brick houses, a thatched hut and leafy trees.
