June 23 20142014-06-23June 23 20142014-06-23 +2 copiesA seated figure in orange and rust robes with a white flower garland and gold armlets sits on a red and leopard-print cushioned seat, pouring from a terracotta pot into a metal dish held by a kneeling elderly man in white clothing with a brown beaded necklace. Behind them, women in orange and rust saffron robes with rudraksha malas hold a tray of white offerings, and a decorated gold-and-floral deity murti stands on a red carpeted floor beside a blue patterned backdrop with a fan. This appears to be a padapuja-style ritual. The seated figure has long swept-back hair and saffron-orange clothing with ceremonial gold ornaments, a cue combination consistent with the page's Swamiji reference, so the appearance-based label applies.2014-08-17June 20 20142014-06-20July 07 20142014-07-07 +1 copiesA seated man in orange and maroon robes with a white flower garland and gold bangles holds up a silver ceremonial staff topped with a ring-shaped finial during a home puja. He sits on a raised cushioned seat in a red-walled room with a stone fireplace and brass vessels. Around him sit several shaven-headed young men in orange and white robes with white vibhuti marks and rudraksha malas, and a man in white dhoti and shirt holds a lit flame over a plate. A woman in white with folded hands sits in the foreground, and orange flower petals lie on the floor.2014-06-20April 14 20122012-04-14A seated man in an orange-brown robe with a gold-and-white garland and a gold necklace raises a long orange-red rudraksha mala with both hands while a bald devotee in a white kurta and beaded mala kneels before him with palms together, holding a yellow fruit. Behind them, several women in white saris and orange-and-blue sarees stand with palms pressed together, some wearing rudraksha malas. A white-shirted man stands at the right edge beside a red-draped seat with a gold carved armrest. The seated man has a white forehead mark and wears a gold earring. The floor is red carpet and the backdrop is red curtains. The seated man is a probable Swamiji by appearance: long swept-back hair, ornate gold necklace and rudraksha-adorned ceremonial setting, with an orange robe.2014-07-11 +1 copiesDecember 19 20122012-12-19A seated man in a rust-red sannyasi wrap and a white flower garland blesses a young boy in a white-and-red checked shirt holding a yellow banana. The blessing man sits on a red cushioned seat with a tilak on his forehead and gold bangles and earring. Behind them a woman in white with orange shawl and a second woman in orange sari stand near a row of decorated deity murti in green, red and gold garments. The setting appears to be a temple-style hall with a red curtain and a fan at right.2014-06-06April 26 20152015-04-26A photograph inside a temple-style hall with gold-toned carved pillars. A person in an orange-red turban, orange-and-gold saffron garment, layered red, pink and purple flower garlands, a gold armlet and bangles sits on a red cushion, smiling and extending a hand. Before them a man in a cream shirt kneels with his hands cupped around a red fruit. A woman in a white top and a brown shawl with a dark bead necklace stands behind, and other devotees in maroon and saffron clothing are visible in the background. A gold ceremonial vessel sits near the seated figure. Whether the seated figure is a person cannot be determined from appearance alone; the figure is presented as a devotee-facing sannyasi giving blessing.2015-08-09
