A man with a shaved-looking head and a red tilak sits on an ornate gold throne draped with a tiger-striped cloth, wearing a long red garland, gold necklaces, a saffron-orange dhoti-style cloth with a yellow border, and gold armlets. He is smiling. Before him on the floor, a woman in a light green sari and a woman in a white top sit near silver trays of flowers, red blossoms, fruit and offerings, while a woman in a white-striped forehead mark and red-and-maroon garment kneels nearby. Another man in a white shirt stands behind the throne and a person's head is visible at the bottom edge. Ritual puja offerings are arranged in front of the throne.2013-09-09A photograph of a seated man on an ornate golden throne, wearing an orange-saffron dhoti and shawl, a red and white flower garland, gold necklace and gold bangles, with his bare feet resting on the throne's gold base. Before him on a gold tray are brass plates of offerings, flower petals, and small oil lamps. A kneeling man in white clothes with a red sash and rudraksha mala and a kneeling woman in orange sari with flowers in her hair attend the offering. Behind them, a shaven-headed attendant in orange and maroon robes with a rudraksha mala kneels. Two framed portraits hang on a dark wall: one of a smiling man in an orange turban, the other of a man in orange robes seated in meditation, with a wall air conditioner above. Brass bells and a hanging lamp are visible at upper right. The setting resembles a padapuja ritual. Swamiji appears as a probable candidate on the throne, identifiable by long hair, a gold necklace, saffron clothing and a garland.2013-07-19January 15 20132013-01-15April 27 20122012-04-27A seated figure in saffron-orange robes with long swept-back hair, a red mark on the forehead, a long beaded rudraksha-style mala, and bangles sits on an ornate gold throne with red cushions and a leopard-print cloth. Beside the throne stand brass oil lamps with lit flames and a tall gold-framed mirror arch. Two devotees kneel on the dark floor before a gold tray holding fruit, sweets and small offerings: a man in a pink-striped shirt with glasses, and a woman in a teal sari with a mala. Swamiji (probable) is seated on the throne in orange robes and long hair with a mala, matching the page's event. The room is dark and gold-accented.2012-04-27A seated man in an ornate golden throne wears a saffron-orange dhoti and shawl with a cream-and-gold floral garland, bare chest and bare feet resting on a silver tray of flowers and small lit oil lamps. A probable Swamiji candidate: long swept-back hair, ceremonial gold ornaments and orange-saffron ceremonial clothing, seated on a gilded peetha with a tiger-striped cloth. Around him, devotees in white clothes with orange lanyards kneel and tend the offerings: one man in white holds a tray, a woman in white pours or arranges items, and another woman in white with a red bindi sits at the right edge. Brass bells and hanging lamps hang above, with a black wall and a wall-mounted air conditioner behind. The scene reads as a ritual padapuja with lamps and flower offerings.2013-05-16May 13 20132013-05-13April 27 20122012-04-27A seated man in saffron-orange robes and a long saffron shawl sits on an ornate gold-and-red throne, with a white tripundra mark on his forehead, a rudraksha-style beaded necklace, a gold chain and a bracelet, smiling as he faces a small group. Before the throne on a gold cloth are silver plates holding flowers, marigold petals, a kalasha and small lamps, and a brass oil lamp burns on a stand. Around him, a woman in a maroon sari with folded hands and a girl in a pink patterned top kneel in prayer, a man in a white kurta with folded hands sits near a camera, and a man in a green shirt sits at the right. Several more people sit in the dim background near a curtain, with a white-walled room and a wall light behind them.2013-02-19
