The seated figure has a white forehead mark and hair in a bun, and sits beside a golden kalasha-like vessel and a silver staff entwined with a dark serpent. A red curtain and a golden lamp stand form the backdrop, and a sheet of paper is held in the seated figure's left hand. The blessing gesture suggests a darshan or blessing moment.2014-07-25July 15 20142014-07-15A photograph of a bearded man with long dark hair in a rust-orange sannyasi wrap and a thick rudraksha-style mala blessing a clean-shaven man in a white shirt with an orange lanyard. The blessing man's hand rests on the other's forehead while the white-shirted man raises his own hand. Gold deity statues, a gold staff and a red curtain stand behind them. Swamiji (probable) is the man in orange and brown robes with the long hair and mala, giving a blessing, so swamiji is in_person. Only two physical people are visible.2016-09-09 +1 copiesJuly 27 20142014-07-27July 25 20142014-07-25A seated man in an orange turban, orange and gold robe and a beaded necklace raises his hand to touch the forehead of a bearded man in a white kurta with a red-and-gold shawl and a red lanyard. On the left, a man with long dark hair in a bun, bare-shouldered and wearing an orange-red cloth with a gold chain necklace and a white tilak on his forehead, extends his right hand to touch the forehead of a bald man on the right, who wears a plain white kurta. Behind them is a golden deity murti or ornate figure, and a lit oil lamp hangs at the left edge. Bamboo screens and a partially visible seated figure appear in the background. A man in orange-red clothing giving a blessing with his palm on another's head suggests a darshan or blessing moment.2014-07-15A seated man in an orange-red robe with a white forehead mark, red bindi, gold necklace and long swept-back hair places his right hand on the head of a young boy in a light blue shirt who sits before him. A silver staff with a snake-shaped carved wooden element and a gilded ceremonial vessel stand nearby, with red drapes and gold panels behind. A woman in white appears at the right edge. The man smiles while blessing the boy.2014-07-20July 06 20122012-07-06A photograph of a man in white draped clothing with a bare upper torso and a red bindi on his forehead, smiling as he places his right hand on the head of a seated man in a white t-shirt. Silver bangles and a silver armlet are visible on the standing man's arms, and he holds a long silver-colored staff or rod across the frame. Behind them hangs a deep red velvet curtain. The standing man has distinctive visible cues of a bare-shouldered white garment with silver ornaments, so he is described as a person figure, blessing a devotee in a personal darshan moment.2012-02-08
