The man in orange has long dark hair swept back, a white vertical tilak with a red bindi, a gold earring, a thick mala of rudraksha beads, and an orange draped shawl with a gold border. The young man has short hair, a small hoop earring, orange saffron robes, a rudraksha mala and a beaded bracelet, and his hands are pressed together in anjali. Behind them stand a golden cobra-hooded staff, a silver rod and red drapery, and a golden ornament sits at lower left. This is a blessing or initiation gesture. Behind them stands a silver staff topped with a finial and a coiled metal cobra, beside a golden deity murti and red drapes. A peacock-feather fan is at the lower left. The seated man appears to be Swamiji (probable) based on the long swept-back hair, ornate gold necklaces, orange-saffron clothing and rudraksha mala cues, and the page indicates he is present; this is an appearance-based label. The kneeling devotee receives a blessing.2014-07-27A photograph of a seated figure in an orange-red robe and gold garland extending his right hand to press the forehead of a standing devotee in a white shirt with an orange shawl. The second man wears an orange shirt and orange shawl, eyes closed, with gold bangles and a ring, and his hands are open in front of him. The first man holds a small paper card in his left hand, and a red cloth and small items are visible on a table below. The bare-chested figure's distinctive hair, rudraksha malas and ornamentation match the a person cues, so he is described as a person in a blessing role; the other man is a devotee.2012-09-08Photograph of a bare-chested man in long dark hair and a beard, wearing an orange-brown shawl and a thick rudraksha mala, placing his right hand on the forehead of a seated man in a white kurta with an orange scarf. The seated man has his palms together in namaskar and a yellow tilak-like mark is visible on his forehead. Behind them, a smiling person in a red turban and white garland sits near a golden throne-like seat and gilded decorations. The setting suggests a blessing or puja moment in an ashram hall. Swamiji (probable): the standing man has long swept-back hair, rudraksha mala and an orange shawl, consistent with a distinctive presentation, so the swamiji value is in_person.2016-07-13September 13 20132013-09-13 +1 copies
