October 08 20102010-10-08Close view of an ornate golden throne arm carved as a rearing lion-like creature with a curled trunk-like snout and mane detailing, beside a rich gold-framed seat. Garlands of yellow marigolds, red roses and white jasmine drape the throne, with a red-and-gold textile on the seat. Behind the throne, a large printed portrait shows a figure in orange saffron robes, with Kannada script on a blue banner at the lower left. A partially visible figure in a red and gold sari with jewelled necklaces sits at the upper right. No physical person is clearly identifiable as a person from appearance cues, so the identity is unsure.2010-10-08December 22 20132013-12-22A photograph of a stage set for a discourse. A seated man in orange robes with a rudraksha-style mala and ceremonial necklace sits on an ornate gold throne draped in garlands of white, yellow and purple flowers, speaking into a microphone stand. Beside him stands a gilded swan-shaped seat, also garlanded, holding a statue of a standing figure in red robes wearing a red headdress and a beaded necklace, with one hand raised. Two oil lamps flicker on a small stand near the throne. The backdrop is dark blue drapery, and an orange cloth covers the floor. Swamiji (probable) is identified by the appearance cues of long swept-back hair, saffron robes, rudraksha mala and ceremonial gold necklace, seated in the speaker's place on the throne.2010-12-28A photograph of a deity murti seated on an ornate gold throne with a carved lion-head armrest and a gold backrest. The murti wears a tall jeweled crown, a red and white bodice with layered gold and jewelled necklaces, and a green and gold brocade skirt with a red velvet shawl draped over the arm. Thick garlands of yellow marigolds, white flowers and red roses hang from the shoulders, with peacock-feather ornaments at the top. A deep red curtain stands behind the throne. No physical people are visible.2015-04-22A richly decorated deity murti of Murugan, a golden shrine arch behind it, and a gilded peacock vahana in the foreground. The figure is draped in red silk and heavily garlanded with red roses, yellow marigolds and white flowers, with gold coin-style necklaces and a purple floral crown. Two smaller attendant figures flank the central image, one in blue ornaments. No physical people are visible; the figures are statues and the frame shows only the shrine and its decoration.2015-01-07July 17 20152015-07-17 +1 copiesJuly 17 20152015-07-17December 28 20082008-12-28July 09 20152015-07-09 +1 copiesDecember 24 20092009-12-24October 16 20102010-10-16 +1 copies
