The person wears orange-saffron cloth wrapped around the lower legs with a gold border, and multiple thick gold bangles on the ankles. Only legs and feet are visible; no face or full body is shown. A faint blurred hand appears at the right edge. The image is a photo of a padapuja-style foot worship, though only the feet are seen.2011-07-15A photograph of a padapuja ritual. A person in white clothing and a red-beaded wrist band holds a silver plate with flower petals and a silver spoon-like vessel, pouring or offering over bare feet resting on a golden-brown ornate platform. The feet belong to a figure in saffron-orange robes wearing a multi-coloured beaded necklace; their face is not visible. Pink and red rose petals scatter across the silver plate and gilded base. Another person's arm, adorned with a silver bangle, reaches in from the left. A small brass dish of kumkum or vermilion sits at the left edge.2009-09-07Close photograph of a bare foot in a golden ritual tray being worshipped by hands. A woman's hand with gold bangles and a silver ring holds a garland of red, white, yellow and purple flowers while another hand, with a rudraksha bead bracelet and wearing white, touches the foot. The foot wears orange-saffron robe fabric at the ankle, and the tray is filled with red and pink rose petals, a green leaf and gold-coloured ornaments. Whose foot it is cannot be determined from the image.2010-08-15Close-up of a bare foot with a gold anklet and toe rings resting among fresh flowers: red roses, white jasmine and marigold garlands, with yellow citrus fruits and a flower-strewn tray in the foreground. The scene appears to be a padapuja-style offering of flowers at a devotee's or guru's feet. Only a single foot is visible; no face or full body is shown.2016-07-19A close photo of a padapuja ritual: a pair of bare feet, smeared with white paste, rest on a golden tray while several hands pour water over them from silver vessels. One hand holds pink lotus flowers, and water streams down past a red-and-green thread on the ankle. The person whose feet are being washed wears no visible face in frame; in the foreground a dark-haired head is partly visible at right. A woman in an orange-and-white outfit with a green-trimmed border and gold bangles pours water, and a man in an orange robe also stands beside the tray. Silver bowls with offerings sit at the bottom of the frame.2010-10-30 +1 copiesApril 20 20182018-04-20October 11 20162016-10-11Close view of a padapuja ritual: bare feet resting on a red cloth over an ornate gold-edged tray, with a seated figure in orange and red garments and a silver anklet. A devotee in white kneels to the right, hands pressed together in namaskar, and flowers in red, white and orange lie around the tray. A brass bowl sits in the foreground, and a black handbag appears in the background among white-clad attendees.2009-07-07A close photograph of a padapuja ritual. A person in orange robes stands with a garland of pink and white lotus-like flowers hanging from the waist down to the feet. A hand in a white sleeve reaches toward a silver tray on a red cloth, holding gold-coloured beads, red flowers and a yellow flower. A gold ornate chair or throne is visible behind. Only the orange-clad figure's legs and feet and the hand are visible, so the presentation of the feet is the focus.2009-12-01September 07 20092009-09-07
