In the foreground, a young woman in orange robes with a maroon-and-orange sash and a white forehead band holds her hands together, with a rudraksha mala around her neck. Beside her, several women in orange and maroon saris sit before brass puja trays, kalasha-style vessels, small oil lamps, bowls and flower offerings laid on red and pink cloths. Behind them, more participants in white and orange sit on the floor, and additional people in white clothing sit along the back wall beneath a window with red curtains. A woman in orange stands at a clear podium at the back left, and a projection screen on the left shows a portrait. Gold-painted decorative pillars and white hanging panels line the right side. Many women wear rudraksha malas and some have white tilak markings. The scene suggests a seated ritual gathering in an ashram-style hall.2016-08-02September 30 20162016-09-30
