January 01 20132013-01-01A photograph taken at night beneath a large old banyan tree with thick, hanging aerial roots and a circular stone platform at its base scattered with yellow flower petals. A man stands at left in an orange-saffron dhoti and matching upper cloth with a gold-edged border, wearing a long white flower garland with red blossoms, his palms pressed together in namaskar as he bows toward the tree. A brass plate of yellow flowers is visible at the lower left edge. The man's appearance does not clearly establish him as the event's named figure, so he is described only by role as a devotee performing a tree worship gesture. +2 copiesNight photograph at an outdoor ashram spot beneath a large spreading banyan tree with thick aerial roots. A single man stands at left in saffron-orange clothing, wearing a long white and red flower garland and gold chains, his face turned upward toward the branches. Appearance-based cues are limited because only the back is visible.2009-11-19A photograph taken at night of a figure in an orange saffron garment standing to the left, wearing a long white and red flower garland and a gold necklace, with long dark hair and a sindoor mark on the forehead.
