January 1st 2013A photograph taken at night beneath a large old banyan tree with thick, hanging aerial roots and a circular stone platform at its base scattered with yellow flower petals. A man stands at left in an orange-saffron dhoti and matching upper cloth with a gold-edged border, wearing a long white flower garland with red blossoms, his palms pressed together in namaskar as he bows toward the tree. A brass plate of yellow flowers is visible at the lower left edge. The man's appearance does not clearly establish him as the event's named figure, so he is described only by role as a devotee performing a tree worship gesture. +2 copiesApril 24 20132013-04-24February 03 20172017-02-03Night photograph at an outdoor ashram spot beneath a large spreading banyan tree with thick aerial roots.
