Outdoor photograph of a large banyan tree with spreading aerial roots and branches forming a canopy over a paved and earthen courtyard at Adi KAILASA. Beneath the tree stands a dark stone shrine or deity murti under an arched niche, flanked by white pillars and a heap of red kumkum powder on the ground. Two people in orange or saffron clothing stand near the shrine, and two women in blue and white saris walk in the background. Green foliage and small shrubs surround the area.

A large, spreading banyan tree with dense green foliage and many aerial prop roots dominates the scene. Beneath its canopy stands a raised stone platform with a dark statue and red flower offerings piled at its base. A woman in an orange sari stands near the platform, and a green cloth hangs down beside it. Five people in deep red garments stand around the base of the tree and platform, some with hands joined. Sandy ground and low stone walls surround the area under the open sky.

Around its base, a circular stone platform surrounds the trunk, and a small figure in white clothing stands near the trunk, with another white-clad person further back. On the right, a black stone statue of a seated deity is draped in orange and yellow cloth and rests on a raised orange-coloured platform inside a black-edged circular enclosure. Several white metal poles and a rope hang from the branches.

Several white-painted circular platforms or raised bases surround the trunk. Thin white metal poles stand in a row on the left, and a rope or pole runs diagonally on the right. Far to the left, a small figure in red and orange clothing stands near a red-cloth-covered area beside the tree, and another person in white sits or stands further left near the base of the trunk. Clear white sky shows through gaps in the leaves.

Beneath it, a shaded sandy courtyard holds a raised red-painted mound with a seated black deity murti draped in orange and red cloth, circled by a dark ribbed border. A single person in white clothing with orange garments kneels on the ground before the mound, apparently in prostration or puja. Nearby stand a dark stone slab, low concrete platforms around the trunk, and white-painted pillars supporting the tree area, with a tree in the left foreground.
