Each has white sacred ash marks on the forehead and arms, and several wear beaded rudraksha-style malas. Behind them, more robed children and adults in orange and red sit in rows. In front lie a red-and-orange cloth, brass vessels, a small brass lamp, a silver plate, incense sticks and a blue lidded container.

In the foreground a young boy with a red bindi and palms pressed together in prayer sits beside a clear plastic container and brass plates holding offerings. An older bald man with a rudraksha mala and white arm markings sits at right with hands folded, while a few people in red garments sit behind.
