Photograph taken from behind of a person in white ritual clothes, a white kurta and white dhoti with a red border, raising a lit lamp or aarti vessel toward a shrine. The shrine is framed by a gold arch and draped with red and white garlands, and holds a dark deity murti with a crown, a trident and gold necklaces, set against a red garment. Brass lamps stand at the right and a yellow-cased box sits at the lower left. Garlands also hang along the top and sides of the doorway. The person has long dark hair pulled back.
