A man seated on an ornate gold throne with carved lion-head arms wears a red-orange turban with a white floral ornament, an orange-red robe with gold border, and a marigold garland; he holds a small object and sits with bare feet. Before him, a group of about a dozen devotees sit on the floor in white clothing, several with hands folded in anjali, around a gold tray set with silver plates of offerings, red flower petals and lamps. Brass bells and hanging oil lamps are suspended above, and a camera on a tripod stands at left.
