A dining hall with long metal-topped tables where men and women eat from banana leaves. In the foreground, several men in white shirts and white dhotis sit eating rice, a yellow banana, and small side dishes; one man in the centre wears a vertical tilaka mark on his forehead. Behind them, women in blue uniforms serve and sit at tables along the wall. Fluorescent lights, a fire extinguisher on the wall, and stainless steel tumblers are visible. The scene suggests a communal meal service. No a person candidate is clearly identifiable in this frame.

A photograph of a long communal meal in a bright white hall. Rows of devotees sit on the floor along banana leaves laid end to end, each leaf holding rice, curries, sliced fruit, and steel tumblers with water. Many women wear white or cream clothing with yellow lanyard-style ribbons; one woman in the foreground wears a dark floral blouse and has very short cropped hair. Some people sit on chairs at a table in the background. The mood is orderly and attentive, as in annadan prasadam serving at an ashram gathering.
