A photograph of a long communal meal in a bright white hall. Rows of devotees sit on the floor along banana leaves laid end to end, each leaf holding rice, curries, sliced fruit, and steel tumblers with water. Many women wear white or cream clothing with yellow lanyard-style ribbons; one woman in the foreground wears a dark floral blouse and has very short cropped hair. Some people sit on chairs at a table in the background. The mood is orderly and attentive, as in annadan prasadam serving at an ashram gathering.
