A photograph of a temple shrine with a stone shivalinga on a carved lotus-base pedestal, covered in white paste, flower petals and a yellow-red garland. A figure with long, loose dark hair and a white band on the forehead wears a saffron-orange robe and stands barefoot on wet stone, hands joined in prayer with head bowed. Behind him a young attendant in orange robes holds a brass plate, and an older man in white and orange sits further back. Scattered petals float in shallow water, and ornate deity figures in silver and red garments stand in the background beneath a stone pavilion roof with trees beyond.

A photograph of a man in saffron-orange clothing performing abhishekam on a dark stone Shivalinga at night. He wears a sleeveless saffron top and a saffron shawl draped over his shoulders, with a thick gold-coloured bead garland around his neck. His right hand rests on the lingam while he bends forward, and white ash or vibhuti marks his arm. The lingam stands on a black stone yoni-peetha basin with a green leaf and a yellow offering near its base, and water flows from the basin. A white marble statue of a seated figure with a turban stands at left.

A photograph of a linga abhishekam at a temple. A woman with long curly dark hair in an orange sleeveless robe with a gold bead necklace pours water over a black stone shivalinga set in a black basin, while holding a clear glass vessel. Behind her, a man in orange robes with a rudraksha mala pours from a glass jar, another orange-robed man stands at right, and a man in white dhoti bends in the background. A white marble statue stands at left beside a small wooden stand with flowers on the floor.

A photograph, rotated sideways, of a person lying prone across a large dark stone lingam during a Shivaratri abhishekam. The person wears a saffron-orange robe with gold-bordered drape and a gold-beaded collar, with long dark hair, a red bindi and white ash markings on the forehead. One hand rests on the stone. Behind, a white-clad figure holds a silver vessel and a pink flower, and a rust-coloured wall and a corrugated sheet are visible.

A man with long, swept-back dark hair and a red tilak on his forehead pours water from a brass kalasha over a black stone shivalinga on a stepped peetha inside a temple. He wears an orange-saffron robe and a long necklace of rudraksha beads and gold ornaments, which marks him as a probable Swamiji (appearance cues: long hair, ornate gold and rudraksha adornment, saffron clothing). Water splashes over the linga, which is the abhishekam ritual. Behind him, other saffron-clad people stand near the linga, and a figure in a red sari sits at the right. Flower garlands in red, yellow and purple hang above, and a red-and-gold silk cloth drapes the deity area. At left, a man in orange bends forward beside a white marble statue and a brass lamp. Grey temple pillars with carved detail frame the scene.

A photograph of a long-haired figure in a flowing orange robe and a heavy gold-toned bead necklace pouring water over their head beside a large dark stone shivalinga on a black-stone yoni-pitha base, with water streaming down the base. A devotee in white clothes stands behind, and another man in orange with a marigold garland holds a metal vessel to the right. A white statue of a seated figure in a turban is in the lower-left corner. Probable Swamiji cues present: long swept-back hair, orange robe and ornate bead necklace, performing abhishekam on the linga.

A person in orange saffron robes bends forward at a dark stone shrine, head lowered and hands resting on its carved stone ledge in an act of reverence. A white-wrapped Shiva lingam and a stone nandi-style bull sit within the shrine, and a bangle and rudraksha mala are visible on the wrist and neck. Pink-walled temple architecture and scaffolding frame the background in a stone courtyard.
