The left figure wears a purple sari and holds a veena, the central figure wears a red sari with a crown and jewelled necklace, and the right figure wears a green sari with a jewelled necklace. Each figure is framed by an ornate gold arch. A white cloth covers the platform between them, with brass lamps and a small offering plate in the foreground and smoke or incense haze hanging in the air. Two orange-robed figures stand at the upper edges. No living people are clearly visible in the scene.A temple shrine photographed head-on beneath an ornate gold arch. Two large silver-toned deity murtis of a seated male and female pair stand in the centre: the male wears a red and green turban, a crown, a trident in one hand, and ornate jewelled necklaces; the female wears a red-orange sari, a crown and jewelled ornaments. Between them a tall gold-and-silver shivalinga rises beneath a hooded serpent canopy. Marigold and yellow flower garlands drape the shrine. Flanking the deities are painted cut-out panels of a lion-like creature and a white bull-like figure, brass oil lamps stand on both sides, and green coconuts are visible at the edges. In the foreground a small white figure in a maroon robe with a gold chain sits below the linga, with brass vessels, offerings and a small silver-framed figure on the right side of the shrine.2009-09-26October 17 20102010-10-17
