Several men stand in front of the shrine with palms pressed together in prayer; the two nearest wear orange-red cloth and rudraksha malas, one in a blue shirt and one in a checked shirt, while an older man in white stands at the right edge. A small silver or white figure stands at the left of the altar. Warm lamplight fills the scene.2010-10-17Photograph of a dimly lit temple interior during a ritual. A decorated deity murti stands behind an altar draped with garlands of flowers and banana or leafy decoration, with strings of lights above. In the foreground, several people in dhoti sit or bend low on the floor near offerings and flower-covered items. Two bare-chested men in white dhotis stand at right, one with a white cloth draped over his shoulder, near the altar. Faces are partly obscured and the scene is crowded with dark silhouetted figures. Visible ritual activity suggests abhishekam or puja.2011-11-29Night procession scene at a ratha or chariot shrine decorated with colourful geometric panels in red, yellow, blue and white, with orange fringe. At the centre a deity murti wears a gold crown and a garland of yellow marigolds, dressed in a teal-blue cloth. In front, a priest in orange-red ritual cloth performs aarti with a flame and offering plates on a low platform. Several devotees in white and orange shawls stand with hands joined in prayer, and an elderly bald man in the foreground watches from the crowd. Several people are visible, and no figure is clearly identifiable as a person.2010-11-18July 10 20102010-07-10 +1 copiesMay 16 20122012-05-16 +1 copiesMay 16 20122012-05-16 +1 copiesOctober 09 20062006-10-09February 12 20102010-02-12 +1 copiesJanuary 22 20062006-01-22 +3 copiesNovember 29 20112011-11-29June 05 20122012-06-05 +1 copies
