November 19 20062006-11-19A photograph of a devotee kneeling and bowing his head onto the feet of a seated figure. The devotee wears a white shirt, a white head wrap and a silver bangle, and his hands are pressed together over the feet. The seated figure wears a rust-orange robe with a gold-bordered hem and sits on a red velvet cushion scattered with pink rose petals. Only the devotee's head and hands and the robed figure's lower body and feet are visible, so the seated figure's identity cannot be established from the image. The scene suggests padapuja or darshan. A small logo appears in the top left corner.2015-07-19 +1 copiesA close photograph of a person in a white kurta bowing forward with their head resting on the hands of another person seated in an orange garment, whose orange-clad forearm rests on an orange cushion or armrest in the lower right. The bowing person has dark wavy hair and wears a gold bangle on the wrist. The seated figure's hand is visible holding the bowed head in a gesture of respect. The background is blurred and white.2010-07-24August 03 20102010-08-03A devotee in white dhoti and white shirt bows deeply, forehead pressed onto the feet of a standing figure draped in orange saffron cloth and wearing a garland of white jasmine and red roses. The devotee's hands clasp the feet while the bowed head rests on a large ornate gold tray with raised concentric designs scattered with pink and yellow flower petals. A white-clad attendant stands at the left edge and a white cushioned seat is at right. The scene reads as a padapuja, the ritual washing and honouring of the feet. The orange-clad figure is partially visible from the waist down with the upper body cropped out, so no a person identification is possible.2010-07-24A young man in a white t-shirt bows forward with his head resting on the lap of a seated figure dressed in saffron orange robes. He has one hand pressed to the seated person's knee area while the other supports him. The seated figure sits on a red and gold brocade cushion decorated with a yellow marigold garland and a red flower. The man's shirt has a blue logo and the website text www.a person printed on the back. The man wears a black wristwatch. The seated person is partially cropped, and orange fabric hangs behind them. This is a devotional gesture of obeisance during a darshan or pada puja setting.2010-07-24January 02 20162016-01-02 +1 copiesA young man in a white t-shirt with blue logos and the website www.a person printed vertically on the sleeve bows deeply, forehead pressed against the lap of a seated figure in orange robes. The seated figure rests on a red and gold brocade cushion decorated with a yellow marigold garland and a red flower. The man's hand rests on the orange-robed person's back, and a wristwatch is visible on his wrist. The background shows more orange-clad figures and orange fabric draped behind.2010-07-24A photograph of an elderly man with grey hair and a white shirt and white dhoti, bending low and touching his forehead to the bare feet of a seated figure. The man wears a red cloth draped at his neck and holds a white coconut wrapped in white cloth, with his hand resting on it. The seated figure wears a deep red garment with a broad gold-orange border and sits on a patterned cloth cushion beside a garland of yellow and pink flowers and a small brass item. Behind them, other people in white clothing are partly visible, and a gold-embellished throne-like seat is at the right edge.2016-01-02A photo of a person in an orange top bending forward with their face pressed into a long row of garlands, laid out in orange, yellow, white and purple flowers. The person has dark hair and wears a thick white and pink flower garland across the shoulder, with flowers in the background. The scene suggests an offering of flower garlands in a devotional setting.2009-12-24A photograph of a padapuja ritual. An elderly bald man in a white shirt sits with palms pressed together in namaskar, head bowed close to a brass tray of flower petals, pink lotus petals and red blossoms. A standing figure in orange-saffron robes with a red flower at the shoulder is visible above the tray, and a woman in a white garment with a rudraksha-style bead necklace sits at the left edge. Another woman's hand with gold bangles reaches toward the tray to offer petals, and an ornate gold chair with carved details stands behind. The orange-robed figure's face is not visible, so the identity of the person being honoured is not established. Brass oil lamp and kalasha-like vessel sit among the petals.A person in an orange-brown robe with a gold-bordered sash and a rudraksha-style beaded necklace bends forward, pressing their forehead onto a dark stone surface. Their dark hair is tied in a topknot with a red band. Incense sticks stand in a small metal holder at left, and yellow flowers and a dark stone object are visible nearby. A faint white marking is visible on the forehead. The appearance is consistent with a sannyasi in saffron-toned robes, but the face and identity cannot be confirmed from appearance alone.2013-11-05
