The bowing man wears a white shirt and a gold ring on his right hand, which rests on the floor near the foot. The person in orange wears a saffron-orange garment and only their lower leg and foot are visible. The background is a plain white tiled floor. This is an act of pranam or padapuja-style reverence in an ashram setting.2013-01-05A photograph of an elderly man with grey hair and a white shirt and white dhoti, bending low and touching his forehead to the bare feet of a seated figure. The man wears a red cloth draped at his neck and holds a white coconut wrapped in white cloth, with his hand resting on it. The seated figure wears a deep red garment with a broad gold-orange border and sits on a patterned cloth cushion beside a garland of yellow and pink flowers and a small brass item. Behind them, other people in white clothing are partly visible, and a gold-embellished throne-like seat is at the right edge.2016-01-02A devotee in a white checked shirt and white dhoti, with a red cloth draped over one shoulder, bends forward and touches his forehead to the bare feet of a seated figure in an orange-red robe with a gold border. A marigold and yellow flower garland lies on a brass plate with a red-and-white cloth beneath the feet, set against an ornate gold throne with a red cushion. Two other people in white are partly visible at the top edge. The devotee's bangles and a ring are visible. Pada puja is depicted in this moment of seated reverence at the feet of the honoured figure.2016-01-02October 08 20112011-10-08Close-up photo of a seated figure in saffron-orange robes with gold border trim receiving a foot-worship ritual. A person in a blue-and-white striped shirt holds and washes the bare foot of the seated figure, while another hand rests on the shin. A red and yellow flower garland hangs at the side, and a cream cushion sits to the right. The ritual is a padapuja, visibly a foot-washing offering. The seated figure's face is not visible, so no identification is made.2012-03-30July 31 20152015-07-31A devotee in a white shirt and light trousers bends forward at the waist, pressing his head down onto the lap of a seated figure draped in orange saffron robes. Around them, other men in white shirts and a man in a yellow scarf stand close, one holding a white cylindrical object, and a woman with dark hair in the lower right foreground looks on. An orange-robed figure with an orange turban-like head covering sits at the right edge with a hand resting on the robe. The setting appears to be an indoor gathering with crowded devotees, consistent with a darshan or pada puja moment.2010-07-24December 19 20162016-12-19Close-up photograph of a bare foot resting on a round silver puja plate during a pada puja.
