A weathered multi-storey building with barred and glassed windows and ornate plaster mouldings stands above a street. Painted on its lower wall are the words "PATANJAL YOGA Institute" with a red arrow, and a small sign reads "Tree Baba". Three people stand at the left in the foreground: a man in an orange garment with a shawl over one shoulder, a shaved-headed man in white dhoti and cloth with a black backpack, and a partly visible person in red at the edge. A goat stands near a makeshift bamboo awning, and a figure in teal is at the bottom centre.2011-11-06November 06 20112011-11-06January 08 20062006-01-08A photograph of a stone temple exterior with carved lattice (jali) windows and pillared walls, viewed across a paved courtyard. Several people stand with their backs to the camera, looking up at the temple wall. A bare-backed figure in saffron/orange cloth with dark hair stands at center right, another in saffron shawl and white clothes stands beside, and others in white dhotis and shirts stand at left. No clearly qualifying appearance cues establish a person candidate, so the identity is unsure.2006-09-18Several people stand on a stone-paved courtyard looking up at the carved exterior wall of an old stone temple, which has lattice-pierced stone windows and a sculpted cornice with small carved figures on the roof. Most wear white dhotis and shirts, while a woman in an orange sari with an orange shawl and another person in an orange shawl stand near the center. A man in a light green checked shirt stands at left. The overcast sky is visible above.2006-09-18A photograph of a walkway between two-storey cream and pale-yellow ashram buildings with pink and red pillars, arched balconies and ornamental lattice panels. Four people walk along the path: a figure in orange robes on the left near the steps, a woman in an orange sari, and two men in white kurtas with orange shawls, one carrying a dark bag. Trees and a green area stand at the right. No figure is clearly identifiable as a person from appearance.2008-07-10A photograph of a dusty outdoor yard beneath a corrugated metal roof supported by steel trusses, with a weathered yellow wall behind. Five people in saffron and orange robes stand in a row; the nearest figure, with long hair and a garland, wears red-orange and gold cloth, and beside him a shaved-headed monk in orange holds a rudraksha mala. Two women in red-and-gold saris stand at the right edge, and a man in a grey jacket and a man in a brown jacket stand among them. Behind them a red signboard is mounted on the wall, and a yellow cloth covers an object at left. Plastic chairs, debris and a bicycle lie on the ground.2014-01-30January 30 20142014-01-30Photograph of four men walking single file down a narrow stone-paved lane in an old Indian town, flanked by weathered sandstone buildings with overhead cables. In front, a man with long dark hair wears an orange-saffron robe and a large marigold garland, smiling and walking barefoot in sandals; the appearance is consistent with a person by his long hair, saffron robe and ceremonial garland. Behind him a man in white dhoti and kurta with a sacred thread walks with a staff, a man in a green shirt walks at left, and a bald man in an orange shirt and jeans carries a camera at right. A maroon signboard with Devanagari script hangs over the lane, and a stone carved shrine spire rises at right.2006-01-06October 18 20042004-10-18A narrow street in an old Indian town, with whitewashed arched colonnades on both sides and dark timber beams overhead. Tangled electrical wires cross the lane. In the foreground, a man in a teal-blue shirt looks back over his shoulder beside a younger man. Further down the lane, pedestrians walk past shopfronts, and a cyclist pushes a cart loaded with metal cans. A red building and a yellow awning appear at the far end.February 13 20132013-02-13
