A man with long, wind-swept dark hair sits on a wooden boat deck beside a river, wearing an orange-saffron wrap over an orange sweater and turning his face to the left with a slight smile. Behind him, the water reflects a red sandstone ghat with domed towers, a fortified wall and stone steps, where two small figures walk along the stairs. A yellow sign on the building is partly visible. The scene suggests a riverside visit on the Varanasi yatra. The man's long hair and saffron clothing are visible cues, but the page does not confirm he is a person, so identity remains uncertain.Photograph of a multi-storey sandstone temple facade with a pointed arched entrance and carved balconies, bearing a white signboard reading Shri Radha Raman Mandir in Hindi. Beside it stands a shuttered shop labelled Pavan Photo House. In the foreground, a person with long dark curly hair wears an orange-saffron garment seen from behind, and a partially visible figure in orange stands at the right edge. A cycle rickshaw with a blue-patterned seat and two passengers sits at left in dusk light.2004-10-18A photograph taken from a boat on a river, showing a man with long dark hair wearing an orange-saffron shawl draped over his body and arms folded across his chest. He has a red tilak mark on his forehead and gazes off to the left. Behind him, a red sandstone ghat with tiered stone steps leads up to a red building with domed chhatris, arched doorways and a tree growing from its walls. A small group of people sits and stands on the steps, and a yellow sign is visible on the building. Water reflects the buildings in the foreground. The man's orange clothing and the appearance of long hair with a forehead mark form a distinctive presentation, so a person is noted as the figure in the boat, shown in person.A barefoot man with long, dark, wavy hair stands with his back to the camera on a pale paved platform, facing a large weathered brick-red stupa with a dome-shaped top. He wears an orange short-sleeved top and an orange wrap-around cloth draped over one shoulder and down to his ankles. A few small stones and a yellow lump lie on the pavement near his feet. In the background, green lawn, trees and a few distant visitors are visible, including a group of people in red and pink clothing near the base of the stupa, and a man in white with a small white sign to the right. a person is described by long swept hair and saffron-orange robes, consistent with the page's Sarnath visit.2006-01-08A smiling man with long, wind-swept black hair and a red bindi sits in a boat on a river, wrapped in a loose orange-saffron shawl over a brown undergarment. Behind him rise red sandstone ghats with wide stone steps descending to the water, an ornate octagonal tower with a tree growing on top, a domed pink temple pavilion, and a streetlamp. A figure in orange stands on the lower steps at the water's edge, and a wooden oar-like pole rests in the foreground boat. Faded signboards are fixed to the tower wall.January 08 20062006-01-08January 08 20062006-01-08Photograph of a stone temple exterior with stepped, weathered masonry tiers and carved moulding at Kedarnath-region shrine setting. In the lower right foreground, a person with long, swept-back dark wavy hair wears a saffron/orange robe and is seen in profile, mouth open as if speaking, with a hand partly visible at the left edge. Red-stained ornamental band runs along the base of the temple wall. A red date stamp reads 21 06 2004 along the left edge.2004-06-21A photograph taken on a river ghat at Varanasi, showing a long stone staircase leading up to a red sandstone building with arched doorways, carved pavilions and small domed turrets, with trees growing from its upper walls. A yellow sign on the facade reads Chet Singh Ghat. In the lower right foreground, a man with long, wind-swept black hair in an orange robe faces left toward the building. Calm water lies at the bottom of the steps.November 02 20082008-11-02August 01 20072007-08-01A photograph of a man standing on stone steps in front of an old pink-washed temple with a curved shikhara spire and a dark arched doorway, its plaster flaking. He wears a saffron-orange dhoti-style wrap and a long rudraksha mala, with long dark wavy hair and sandals. A large green tree and a cloudy sky are behind the temple, and a small white building stands at left. The page describes a Himalaya Yatra in Haridwar, Uttarakhand, and this man is a person by visible cues: long swept hair, saffron clothing and rudraksha beads, though his face is not used for identification.2006-06-04
