Front-row priests with shaved heads wear white dhotis with maroon borders and rudraksha malas, hands folded in namaste or pressing palms together in prayer. Brass plates, small oil lamps and flower offerings sit on the mats in front of them. A large hall with a crowd of seated devotees on mats facing a ritual area in the foreground. In front, a priest in an orange-saffron robe and rudraksha mala sits cross-legged, with a row of white-clad priests in dhoti and shawl beside him. Brass plates, small oil lamps, lit candles and a smoking fire pit with offerings are arranged on the floor, and the group appears to be in a pada puja style ceremony. Behind them, rows of participants in white and mixed dress sit closely together, some with hands folded. Orange drapes hang from the ceiling at the top of the frame. The seated people in the foreground are in white clothing, and one figure in saffron at the front is clearly a priest. No clear face-based identification is possible.
