A man with long swept-back hair, a white tilak on his forehead, an orange-and-saffron robe, a gold-and-pink beaded garland and a shawl sits on an ornate gold-and-red throne with his bare foot resting on a footstool, appearing to be the central figure of a ceremony. Probable Swamiji (probable) seated on a peetha throne, with long hair, saffron clothing and a beaded garland. In front of him, a man in white with a rudraksha mala sits cross-legged with folded hands, a woman in white with a white head covering sits behind, and a man in white kneels nearby. Silver trays holding small oil lamps, red flower petals and offerings are arranged on the red patterned carpet. A bald man in red, partly visible at the bottom edge, faces them. Behind the throne hangs a gold-and-maroon brocade drape, with a projector screen and additional seated devotees visible in the background.2014-01-14A seated man in a golden-ornate throne with red cushions wears an orange-red robe with gold border, a long ornate beaded necklace, and a tilak on his forehead; his bare feet rest on a footstool. Before him on a red-and-gold patterned floor cloth sit four people: a bald man in white with a rudraksha mala, a woman in a white sari with a mala, a man in a white shirt and glasses, and a woman seen from behind. Silver thalis with flowers, lamps and offerings sit on the floor, and a gold-embroidered curtain hangs behind. Swamiji (probable): the seated figure in orange-red robes, long swept-back hair, ornate beaded necklace and throne matches the page's satsang context.2014-01-14A seated man in an ornate gold and red throne is receiving padapuja from kneeling devotees in a carpeted hall. He wears orange robes, a long string of white flower garlands, and his hair is worn long and swept back. A man with long hair swept back, wearing a saffron-orange robe with rudraksha mala, sits on a gold-carved throne with red cushions and his bare feet resting on a red cushion, receiving devotees. Before him, a woman in white robes with a mala sits on a patterned red and gold rug beside a silver tray of rose petals and small oil lamps. Another woman in white clothes with a mala sits with hands folded near a second tray of lamps and petals. A man in a white shirt and grey trousers sits with hands joined in namaste. A person with light hair sits at lower right. A projector screen and sound equipment are visible in the background.2014-01-22A padapuja-style devotional gathering in a hall with a blue carpet and a backdrop of old black-and-white engravings of Indian temples and ghats. A figure with a saffron-orange turban and orange-red robes, adorned with a white beaded necklace and gold armlets, sits on an ornate gold-and-red throne with a trident beside him, his bare feet extended onto a stool. Seated devotees in white and orange-red shawls kneel around plates of red flowers and offerings. An older man in white with a rudraksha mala sits to the left, and several people in white and orange clothing sit in the foreground and behind. The figure has long-hair and ceremonial adornment, a probable identification cue, while the older man and others are devotees. Overall: ritual honouring with offering plates and a trident.2014-05-14A padapuja ritual in a decorated hall. A man seated on an ornate gold-and-red throne with a golden lion carved on its base wears an orange-and-saffron dhoti and a long beaded mala; he is probable Swamiji, with long swept-back hair and a rudraksha mala, and his bare feet rest on a red cushion. Before him, a woman in white with a long beaded necklace and a woman in white with a mala sit with palms joined, and a man in white kurta and grey trousers sits with hands folded. A tray holds rose petals and small oil lamps, and a brass plate of offerings lies nearby. A gold-brocade backdrop and red textured mat fill the background.2014-01-22A photograph inside a satsang hall where a seated figure on an ornate gold-and-red throne wears saffron-orange robes, a long white flower garland and a sweeping dark hairstyle, with a tiger-striped cushion behind him. Seated devotees surround a round gold tray holding brass plates of flowers, fruit and offerings, while a woman in a red sari with a lanyard kneels nearby and a boy in white kneels with a rudraksha mala. Two women in orange shawls sit at the front, a man in a light kurta with hands folded in greeting sits at right, and an older man in an orange shawl sits in the background beside a red curtain and a white-clothed figure. Pandal decor and a wall fan complete the setting. Probable Swamiji candidate: the seated figure on the throne shows saffron robes, a white garland and long swept-back hair, so he is identified only by appearance cues. Puja with offerings and padapuja-style veneration appear to be taking place.2012-07-20May 03 20142014-05-03February 01 20132013-02-01 +1 copiesMay 20 20142014-05-20
